General:
  • AL and NL West (including Cubs) schedule addresses. Day games updated to correct time zone.
  • Addressed CPU Pitcher Energy from always full when pressing the quick menu while batting.
  • Fixed the issue when in the bullpen moving from last pitcher (closer) to top pitcher, the top pitcher's stats stay the same as the closer.
  • Inning pitched count corrected for pitchers during spring training. This is in ALL SEASON Modes.
  • Fixed AUTO BASERUNNING. Users should no longer be able to control steels for you or CPU using L1 and L2 in any game at any time.
  • Fixed the Movie Recording feature in both Replay and Replay Vault. Users should no longer get stuck after multiple recordings.
  • Players names not being called correctly in the audio. One specific item was Beltran being called Delgado and vice versa. This line used to be erroneously said for Juan Rivera. It has now been corrected to play for Casey Kotchman. This line used to be erroneously said for David Ortiz. This line used to be erroneously said for Miguel Cabrera. It has now been "disabled".
  • Career stats after going online and using weekly online Live Rosters or using the Online Roster Vault should now be correct.
  • Fixed issues with unbalanced trades when the rosters were full. 3 for 1 trades that will result in people being placed on waivers should now function.
  • Fix the problem in RTTS as the pitcher when a baserunner from 1st steals, the camera would sometimes swing around thru the crowd.
  • Fix switch hitter sub presentations using the wrong helmet sometimes.
  • Fix RTTS CP never getting a goal before the 1st pitch
  • Fix the Batter Training camera automatically being set to Catcher Cam.
  • Fix the Flashback Presentation X out problem.

Franchise Bugs

1.Fixed September 14 Road to the Show season lock.
2.Scouted players should now have feedback at the time of the amateur draft in June.
3.Fixed CPU roster control and lineup issue where users turn cpu roster control on, set a lineup, but lineup changes do not hold.
4.Fixed a bug where the user controlled team would not receive compensation picks when they lose Type A and B freeagents.
5.Fixed bug not allowing farm directors to be hired or fired. Just load into a franchise and fire a farm director during the off-season.
6.Addressed a problem where the title loses simulating functionality in franchise mode when addressing online requests.

Online:
1.Addressed Free Agents in the Online league Live draft. They should now be placed on teams through Roster Update are usable on user’s teams. (Guys like Manny Ramirez or Adam Dunn should now be available.)
2.Fixed Message Board bug that result in no messages being shown after changing full pages.
3.Reduced online game bandwidth usage.
4.Made minor change to the League create screen to Randomize the Draft time to various 30 minute increments from 12noon from 8pm.
An attempt to fix in-game disconnect issues in the production community. This is in an effort to stop the dreaded traffic delay problem the the community is reporting.

I noticed they haven't even fixed all the supposedly addressed fixes in the allready short list.

For example:

Addressed CPU Pitcher Energy from always full when pressing the quick menu while batting.

It's still always full!!!
Yup, I have the same problem. & I also saw a 5 dollar foot long ad from Subway. :P

Can you really blame them with the way some of you have acted/reacted/posted?

Either way, the patch is on the way. Not sure if there is much else to discuss at this point.

Since the patch isn't out yet, I can't help but to think that maybe they are trying to sort out some of the other "fixes" and actually fix some of them, but don't want to promise anything here because if they can't do it, there will be a major backlash. But, this is pure speculation on my part of course (and some wishful thinking ).

I pitched a no hitter and it was a big letdown not to have my replays since I pressed X accidentally during one of my teams HR flashbacks, lol. To get your replays, you almost have to just watch everything and be real careful about pressing the X button to pass things up to quickly.

Yup.

It'll be out when it is out.

That is some wishful thinking, but it would sure be nice.

Your answer was a mere 5 pages back.

How can he update what he doesn't know.

You all get browny points for being good little members with holier than thou replies on behalf of Russ. Thanks pared and ruffy. I would + rep you both if I could.

The wait continues ...

Thanks man. When OS loses developer support in the future, I'll also know who to thank.

It probably shouldn't at this point, but it never ceases to amaze me when people confuse "holier than thou" and "loyal defending" with basic human decency and rational thought.

Oh well.

Hey doc. I can't recall if I already asked you this or not somewhere in one of these threads. I plan on simming through spring training, setting the lineups, and then using your two controller method to set the lineups for each game that I play.

Will this still work if I plan on using Knight's non-patch V5 rosters, or do I need to have the patch for work-around? Thanks...

I think I know the answer, but just wanna be sure. Is there/will there be a patch for the PSP version? Or is that just not possible?

Thanks.

Human decency?

It seems to me, and I could be way off, but there have been patches for the Show on previous PSP versions.

No kidding!

It is really something else to watch.

I have quit posting over the years as the board has really lost what it means to have relationships with developers.

I was hopeful with the community member selection we would have more of a play in next years version.

Maybe not...

I am shocked at the state of things in this forum. I remember when there were a core of 30 people in this forum just talking baseball. Now that this game has become popular it gets looked at under a microscope and dissected daily. The manner at which it gets done is really poor.

Ahh. The good old days. If the other system had a decent baseball title this wouldn't have happened.

Actually if they would have tested the game this wouldn't have happened.

There were issues that if you actually played the game you would have seen, so I guess the testers must be blind or had their monitors turned off. I won't be buying next years game.
I thought you were done with this game?

The Show played well out of the box. I just deleted the patch and kept going with my franchises. Great game.
