General:
  • AL and NL West (including Cubs) schedule addresses. Day games updated to correct time zone.
  • Addressed CPU Pitcher Energy from always full when pressing the quick menu while batting.
  • Fixed the issue when in the bullpen moving from last pitcher (closer) to top pitcher, the top pitcher's stats stay the same as the closer.
  • Inning pitched count corrected for pitchers during spring training. This is in ALL SEASON Modes.
  • Fixed AUTO BASERUNNING. Users should no longer be able to control steels for you or CPU using L1 and L2 in any game at any time.
  • Fixed the Movie Recording feature in both Replay and Replay Vault. Users should no longer get stuck after multiple recordings.
  • Players names not being called correctly in the audio. One specific item was Beltran being called Delgado and vice versa. This line used to be erroneously said for Juan Rivera. It has now been corrected to play for Casey Kotchman. This line used to be erroneously said for David Ortiz. This line used to be erroneously said for Miguel Cabrera. It has now been "disabled".
  • Career stats after going online and using weekly online Live Rosters or using the Online Roster Vault should now be correct.

4.Fixed a bug where the user controlled team would not receive compensation picks when they lose Type A and B freeagents.

I only play on ps2 but this month has 3 paychecks a ps3 n the Show in the cards; but I definitely admire the amount of class Ramone and everyone at SCEA has always shown...they're better men than I. The fact that they even read all these posts even when they don't/can't respond because they're so dedicated to the product speaks volumes.

great question, would love to know that too.

First off: I don´t want to get in anybody´s face with this.

But don´t you guys think if this place didn´t get so (over)heated in such a short amount of time in the first place, we would have gotten some answers earlier which could have calmed some of us down?

See, I don´t want to defend anybody, but I´m sure that nobody messed up the things everybody is complaining about on purpose.

...you could have the other system...I've played both at my brother's house...I think the Show does a great job of "playing correct" and probably the reason the bar for the rest of the modes is so high is because the gameplay is so...damn...good.

there's aspects of franchise mode that could be better...but "alot of help"? I don't think its that bad.

funny thing is, after they released their second patch last yr, they promised that they'd fix all of the issues for '09. instead, they've actually caused even MORE issues. sure, the gameplay was tightened up, but honestly what sort of QA dept do these people have? i work for a software company and I know that if we released new iterations of our software with this many bugs in it, we would not be in business. the fact that they have these sorts of issues and can't find fixes or develop better code tells me that they are probably under staffed. if they had more developers and qa people, they would most likely be able to address all of the issues that need to be addressed in a timely fashion and still be able to work on mlb '10.

I really don't understand your logic. So your saying if we stay quiet and say nothing they will come in here and tell us that they're working on it, but if we get upset because the game came out 2 months ago and we say something then the DEVS wont tell us anything?

Alright finally finished reading every page of all these threads. Correct me if I'm missing something. The problems people are exp. are franchise crashing, no end of game highlight real, and RTTS crash. Is that it or am I missing some?

I'll play the better baseball game. Odds of it being 2k are slim to none, but still. I like the SHow, but I have to say that breaking things with the patch like replays that worked before is an EA move. Hopefully they fix it.

CPU Roster control still isn't working, at least not the way it worked in MLB 08. Also, is the Auto Fix feature working as it was previously advertised?

Yes and I think the people without end of game highlight reel are also missing in game hilights (for homeruns or whatever).

The franchise and RTTS crashes are all for existing saves. I gave a good description of mine in another thread I started.

That´s essentially what I was trying to say. Think about it, would you jump in here, read 28 threads with 58 posts (just random numbers)each where everybody (well almost) jumps on your back because you messed sth up? I would not.

Russell, I started a clean franchise post patch install using Knights V2 rosters. No crashing issues, BUT the post game highlights have disappeared completely.
