  • Fixed the Movie Recording feature in both Replay and Replay Vault. Users should no longer get stuck after multiple recordings.

I'm not the guru on this. But I heard someone mention earlier that it would work if you could put it on a flash drive and download it to a place like sendspace, and we could download it from there.

What are you talking about?? Do you even understand baseball? Have you played the show? Matsui should not be as tired as jeter, damon, cano etc if he's DH. He's only batting not fielding and sometimes he gets more tired then eveyyone else. No matter who you pu as DH they will get tired just as fast as the rest of the players. Please explain this to me...

why havent anyone from scea chimed in as of yet? i think most of this bickering and complaining would stop if they either acknowledged there is/was a problem with the patch, OR tell us what the next step is....new patch or wait til mlb 2010. They are monitoring this thread, you know that. Dont get it.

I was planning on getting the game and starting my franchise once the patch was out, because I figured the game and rosters would be stable by then, but with how badly SCEA has botched this patch, I'm not so sure now.
What exactly is the 60 day DL bug? I'm concerned I may have experienced this.

You are simply wrong here. You think people should have to rest a full time DH? Is running the bases once or twice a day as hard on the body as playing the outfield? That's what the Show thinks and it was never done like this in the past. It was fine last year and now it's broken. I don't know how on earth you think the DH fatigue is not broken.

Managers use players at DH to give them some rest. It's almost like a full day off. Leyland was doing this with Guillen and Ordonez in the first series against Toronto. Maybe you should move along.

I still think the game is great but it's not above criticism. The last two years have had bugs and glitches that I just don't understand how they got in the game nor how they weren't fixed with a patch.

I'm not going to bother with the patch and will deal with the fact that my DHs get extremely tired and that I never have any fielding errors that are actually recorded as errors while playing on All-Star. It's not like I'm going to stop playing the game but venting for a day or two will make me feel better.

I am glad to see that most people here realize how terrible this patch is and are holding them accountable.
I think everyone holds them accountable and realizes Scea dropped the ball, but for the life of me, I don't understand why some of you say it sours you on Scea and The Show, that it is a game killer and you wasted 60 bucks.

Outside an apology from Russell and Scea(which I think they should give), what do you guys want them to do??

That was my first time in this show thread and you wrote back to my comment. Thanks Russell.

I have not touched the show since the first week of release when I could not score runs and bought nhl 09...BUT, i understand the frustrations of people here. I can only imagine what you and your associates are thinking/saying when reading this heated thread!

If you place someone on the 60 day DL, you can't remove them from the 40-man roster, which is basically the point of wanting to use the 60-day DL.

Too many injuries = problems.

Sure we do. If they think we're just a bunch of clowns and should go away and quit complaining, then we might not want to give them our money next year.

If they think, "Oh, crap, we boned this patch, better get working on a fix". Then we have alot more faith.

Maddens realism of NFL football isn't even in the same ballpark as The Show and it's realism of MLB. It's not even close Guru. The Show immulates it's sports better than any other sports video game ever made......even with the bugs and glitches.

When my QB throws 5 pics because the CPU's middle LB keeps diving 15 ft in the air sideways.....that pisses me off......that isn't realistic. The Show may have some internal problems, but one thing it doesn't have a problem with and that is the actual game playing out like a real MLB game does.

Personally i don't care about an apology i don't need it. I bought a ps3 just for this game last year. I paid $60 for this game to play correct. I'm a franchise guy and the franchise mode needs a lot of help. All i want is a patch that will fix some of the issues that's all. I don't to hear that i must wait until next year to get a baseball playing the way if should. Don't get me wrong, I love the gameplay of the show. I'm just disappointed with the outcome of all of this.

So I take it the patch isnt worth the download huh? Well I will just keep ignoring it until they fix the damm thing.
