Peter Moore has posted the first screenshot of Madden NFL 10.

looks like the player's chin straps are independent from the helmet as if the can move their mouth or even talk!!!?

This is soooo awesome....A great day in the Madden community indeed. Great job Ian and Co., I haven't seen this much excitement for a Madden game in a long time.

Nike cleats & gloves need to be in the game..most players use them anyway.

But it looks like Madden is whooping NCAA so far.

I think the biggest thing about this picture that some of the negative people are missing.

By looking at the picture, it looks like you are looking at a CGI render of a football game. NOT a render of a madden game.

This is the biggest improvement in my eyes. Madden is one of those games you can see a screen shot and go. "Ohhh yea thats madden, its looked like this for years".

This shot looks like a NFL game MUCH MUCH more.

Definitely excited for Madden now. Lol@ reading through this thread though. I do hope they come through with the different colored cleats and some more of the accessories seen around the NFL. It will just add to the authentic look of the game. Great job Ian. Thanx again man.

P.S. Along with Broncos and Hot Orange, the Saints are missing their Gold alternate jersey.... and cleat colors would be cool, and funny @ss pic of keith bullock "now we can get this guy right" haha..

It's the C on the jersey that some teams use to indicate their team captains.

Great Job Ian and the team everything seems to be coming together quite nicely. I am very excited about madden 10 my girlfriend is gonna be so pissed off come aug 12th or 14 th whatever it is

Hmm...Maybe Ian can confirm this, but does Steeler Players who wear a single digit Number finally have that number on the stripe of their helmet instead of beside it???

Example-

Also the the part underneath their stripe on the back of their helmets should be all white......in the past it had "Steelers" there

Example-(Look at Timmon's Helmet)

Blue thing is most likely the replay booth.

The refs hat: It's most likely a linesman, where as the close up ref is an actual referee.

This was already mentioned a few times, yes the number is placed correctly.

Ian confirmed it somewhere in the beginning of this thread in regard to Roethlisberger's helmet.
