NCAA Football 10 Info

Our pre-release info plan is being put together. We are going to be taking the same approach as Madden by announcing something each week, as opposed to announcing everything all at once like on NCAA Football 09.

Officially it starts today and it is... drumroll... Procedural Awareness.

Ok, so nothing new and exciting yet. But I wanted to at least let you guys know that the news will start rolling in this month all the way up to a few weeks before the game hits shelves. So hang tight and check weekly.

I agree... it's amazing how short peoples' memory is. I mean statements like "this will be the greatest NCAA game ever..." Come on people, withhold any judgements until closer to release. We know NOTHING of 2010 at this point. That being said it is good to see EA is starting to listen to the consumer.

I hope that the recruiting engine handles the new QB attributes properly and we don't see all sorts of wacky random accuracy attribute combinations.

Always my main concern when it comes to these titles.

Nice features, but until I see one of these designers mention the improved CPU AI, I'm not biting. Still a rental for me.

Please post more info about AI changes. Gameplay, gameplay, gameplay.

O-line/D-line, CB/WR interactions. More types of passes.

please bring new unexpected things to the table in 10, showing that EA are the innovators and pushing their own expectations to the limit.

As a coach-type player, I was glad that EA at least listened to the begging of players like me and added the Auto Pass (poor man's coach mode that was always in current gen) into the next gen...I am hopeful that they listened this past year. NCAA09 on current gen was a pretty solid game this year so am hopeful that I will be enjoying NCAA10 on PS3 on my 60" Sony in 1080i!

I think OMT said no FCS schools this year.

The reason I said zero was because i don't think they care about it that much and its already been stated by OMT that most of the memory on a disk is taken up by artwork and audio. So I doubt there is enough space to do it. On a blu-ray format maybe but then everyone else would get screwed.

I hope that when they bring them back they do it the right way; with playable conferences and a playoff. Have a mode where you start off as a coach at a FCS team and get offers from FBS teams, conference invites etc...

While they did have them last gen it was kind of lame. Taking the FCS team and supplanting a FBS team.

Disk space is a big issue. That is why they don't expand rosters to 80. On the PS2/Xbox since you just replaced another team it did not require much extra space. To add 80+ teams and full rosters would require a ton of space they might not have.

So how does this weekly info thing works? If Madden releases info thats in both games does that count for NCAA? It shouldnt because NCAA comes out a whole month and a week before Madden so they should be giving out more info anyways! So OMT can we still expect more info for this week?

regarding FCS teams, the devs have made several statements that would seem to indicate that there will be no FCS this year. when asked about expanded rosters they've made numerous references to 120 teams and how adding more roster spots for that many teams would be a huge undertaking. the only thing we can hope for is CAS, but as time passes and we get zero feedback on that feature i'm starting to think it's a lost cause as well. I think we're going to have start hoping for '11 sadly.

In NCAA 2010 there should ION4D helmets, Revolution facemasks should be closer to the face,top 10 stats for each team,more under armour stuff like cleats.Also create a team should have pride stickers, new types of jersey styles.back plates should hang out,towels,hand warmers.New facemask should be added too.
