Good questions!
So the timing is the same as meter pitching (during the delivery)? I was hoping the mechanic would be executed pre-pitch so you could still watch the pitcher.

Nope, the meter moves as the pitcher is winding up and releases when you push the stick up. You can edit the placement of the meter if you want and put it right next to the pitcher if you think that would help you see both the meter and the pitcher.

Is there a difference in how the pitching meter reacts based on talent level? Like; is the target area smaller for a lessor pitcher, or does it move faster in pressure situations? Kind of hard for me to explain but i think yall know what i mean..

Segment taken from Knight's impressions (part 2) posted in the attendees only thread. My question is regarding that last sentence (in bold type):

Also related to MODE play is the option to play Exhibition games in CO-OP mode. This mode is a complete blast. Even for a guy like myself who doesn't really play much. If you have 4 guys in the room 2 vs. 2.......there will be hooting and hollering. You guys have been told before, but it will be 2 vs. CPU...2 vs. 2.....2 vs. 1....1 vs. 1(these will be for online as well I believe).

While not available to season or franchise mode yet...hopefully they get this in, because this could be a lot of fun.

So does this mean that there's a chance that co-op might still be added to season/franchise play for this year, or is it definitely something that we have to wait until next year for?

I was so super pumped when I heard that they finally added co-op (something I've been chirping about around here for years) and I'm still stoked about it, but then when I read that it's only for exhibition games it was kind of a major bummer. I don't mean to sound ungrateful, the game sounds beyond amazing. I'm just hoping that there's still a chance that they'll get this in for this year.

Yeah, will not be in franchise or season this year, only exhibition and online games.

I hope this includes passed balls as well? sorry if this was already answered. Just seems like this happened all too much in prior versions.

Also did anyone see a balk while playing it and were they hopefully few and far between as well? I like that the game has all of the real life possibilities, but the frequency of such things isn't very high.

I was just about to post the same thing, I was really hoping Knight meant they could still add this in for this year because this was very disappointing news to me as well. Don't want to sound too greedy, at least it's in the game.

As far as gameplay, I think one of you said that momentum definitely comes into play when making throws, but does that mean that you will have to hold the stick down shorter or longer depending on the throw? It's hard to explain, but if you're charging a grounder and throwing on the run, are you holding the right stick towards first the same amount of time as you would for a routine grounder?

Well it is nice to change the placement of the meter but it would be even better if you could choose to execute it before the pitcher goes into his motion. Maybe next year.
