Good questions!
Very cool. Thank you.

Hey Knight,

I would guess that you as a manager guy would enjoy some additional fielding cams, or a customizeable one. Am I wrong? Is there any sense on the dev side that we'll see more playable fielding cams or a user customize cam in the future?

One thing you never hear a complaint about in a great game like NBA2k11 is lack of playable cams. I wish mlb could do the same so I could see more ball flight and more of the gorgeous stadiums. Thoughts?

It looks like in some of the videos that it has been changed a bit but I can't tell for sure.
Thanks fellas
They may have tweaked it.....but as a playable camera for fielding...it might still be too tough.

I would love them.....and it's not out of the realm of possibility down the road.
I don't know if anyone is old enough to remember the CAMS system in FPSPRO:Baseball...it was pretty cool back in 1994.

The fly ball is here------------->

The play is here--->

You move you player towards the ball in an arc fashion and it unleashes a strong throwing animation.
Thank you for the drawing..It was very detailed

Does this only work for the high fly balls that you have time to camp under or can you do the "ark run" toward shallow fly ball too ??

Reason I ask is I never get smooth throwing animations when I charge the ball and rarely can I trigger the runway throws so I must be doing something wrong

Do you have to preload your throw before you even field the ball to trigger the animation or maybe I'm running up to the catch region too fast to get a smooth throw animation to trigger ??

I really need correct fielding 101 apparently

Pre-loading is a must IMO.
I've seen some pretty bad throws...because I suck mainly...but also because I don't pre-load most of the time.(I'm just trying not to misplay the ball!)

Yeah, you and I are around the same age. The best thing about that game was the physics IMO. Loved the bat on ball contact and how accurate the hits seemed to be in comparison to pitch location, etc.

Want to try power?...hit square...

Down 0-2?....you can try contact swinging.

Of course you can do any of the above on any count as well.
