Free way to get updated rosters to XBOX 360

I'm wondering if M$ has updated the cables to cause these usb recognition problems - if I hadn't got it to work once I would be giving up about now too, but I know it can be done

You never know with MS. When I go in the device manager it shows as a mass storage device, but when I try to connect the hard drive it does nothing. Maybe there are drivers that we are missing that will allow the recognition of the hard drive????

I am on the phone with them now. They TOLD me overnight, but apparently it was sent regular mail.
