Can i just tell them my xbox 360 premium serial number? Will they recognize?

I called them two times

Time 1: Dude wouldn't send it to me because I didn't have an Elite. Also told me they didn't have any cables for non-elite hard drives.

Time 2. Dude didn't even bother asking me if I had an Elite and just sent it to me without hesitation

well I just called again and the machine voice said I had just issued a service request from my last call......so hopefully that means they've sent one out....even though I hung up on them when the lady asked for my elite serial#....I had already given her my premium.
