I was messing around with the editor and noticed something with the tweaked franchise file. In the FA list it has Peyton Manning, Roethlisberger, Carson Palmer, etc.... They are also on their respective rosters. Is there a reason they are duplicated? Does it help with the integrity of the file? Just curious.

It was a build off tbonekings's attempt to bring puja's franchise over to a plain roster file. I think it was discussed in this thread or a related one.

I just read that thread. They gave him a pretty hard time about it. I was just curious. I have so many questions about editing these things, I just hate to bother people with it. I do think I have the tweaking down. I'm having trouble with naming players and the system renaming a whole slew of other players. Very frustrating.

View my OS profile & from there click the link to "all threads started by this user." i have definitely covered renaming in great detail & this should help you out a lot if you browse thru the results & find said threads.

another (possibly faster) way to slog through my posts on this subject:
use the OS search feature & enter terms related to what you are seeking knowledge on (eg "renaming" "default" "names" "editor" etc) as well as "puja21" for the poster in the search fields. i promise if you put in a little time (10-20mins) you will find exactly what you are looking for... i tried to be clear/detailed enough to really give people help w/ what you're talking about.

if you have specific questions about those threads on renaming after you have read them, then definitely PM me w/ specific questions about what is confusing. i cant speak for others, but for me if you have read & put in the effort & my post was still unclear, then i wont be bothered by a subsequent PM
