Regarding the skin tones and faces, here's the setup -

Skin 1 - Lightest
Skin 2 - Light
Skin 3 - Light Medium
Skin 4 - Dark Medium
Skin 5 - Dark
Skin 6 - Darkest

Faces 1 to 7 are the ones that are available in-game.

Any other numbers that appear in the editor have to do with players who's faces and skin tones cant be edited in-game like Owens, Manning, McNabb, etc.

I only use skins 1-6 and faces 1-7 when adding in missing players. Using anything else without the respective photo will cause the player to be missing his skin tone and face in-game.

Large attributes increases the range from 0-99 to 0-127 in Finn's editor. If you set a player's speed at 125, it will appear as 125 in-game. None of the attributes affects the overall rating as the game's overall rating never goes past 100.

I would imagine that it makes players better. I mean if you set a player's speed at 99 and a different player at 127, I would assume that the player with the 127 for speed would run faster.

Of course, I have never used Large Attributes before and quite honestly, with the exception of the two players that I plan on using it with, I most likely never will.

Agreed. With the historic teams I am in the process of re-rating all the players, but the QBs are the ones who get the majority of ratings over 100 for Pass Accuracy, Pass Read Coverage. Also, the WRs go into the low 100's for the better ones (Rice, Maynard, Irvin, Swann, etc.) for Catch and Hold onto Ball.

Other tweaks are employed, but these 2 positions get the large attribute ratings in order to improve cpu QB play.
