The Vikings and Browns meet in a rematch of last year's Super Bowl, but the Browns are slumping, with the worst offense in the league. Leslie Frazier told reporters that the team is very excited, that this game stood out on the schedule. The Vikings will look to exact their revenge against the team that cost them a Super Bowl.
Despite offensive slump, Vikings beat rival Packers with takeaways
The Packers dominated the time of possession and offensive yards, but the 4 interceptions of Rodgers and a fumble recovery set up 2 easy touchdowns for the Vikings, which proved to be the difference.
The Vikings offense couldn't get anything going due to the pass rush of the Packers. Ponder was constantly flushed out and forced to throw the ball away. But the defense played well enough to where it did not matter.
The Vikings improve to 9-1, and control the NFC North.

In the game of the week, the Vikings travel to Green Bay to face the red hot Packers, in a battle for the NFC North leader. If the Vikings lose, the Packers will be #1 in the NFC North. The Vikings defense will be a challenge for Aaron Rodgers, as they are the leaders of the NFL in sacks and takeaways. Rodgers will have to limit his mistakes to lead the Pack to a victory.
Vikings continue dominating run as they embarrass the Bengals
The Vikings dominance is continuing, and they are coming out of the gates red hot. Christian Ponder, despite an interception, played an amazing game, throwing 8 incompletions and 2 scores, both to the tight end Kyle Rudolph.
The Vikings defense picked off Skelton 3 times, and sacked him 7 times. The Vikings are about to face the most difficult part of their schedule, so it will be interesting to see how they deal with more difficult offenses.

The Bengals went through a huge overhaul this offseason, losing Andy Dalton in free agency. They replaced him with John Skelton, who is having a very subpar year. The Vikings look to continue their success on Monday Night Football in Cincinnati.
Vikings offense explodes in the first half, leads to easy victory
The Vikings absolutely dominated Baltimore in the first half. Adrian Peterson ran for 2 touchdowns in the first quarter, then a 3rd in the 2nd quarter. Colin Kaepernick ran a touchdown in. And suddenly, its 31-10 in the 2nd half. The Ravens scored some garbage time points in the 2nd half, but the story was the Vikings defense. They slowed down the 8th ranked offense, stopping Ray Rice for the most part, and keeping Flacco and his receivers at bay until the game was out of hand.
The defense sacked Flacco 9 times and picked him off 3 more, and recovered a fumble. They are proving to be the elite defense that they have been the past 3 years under Leslie Frazier.

The 4-4 Ravens face the 6-1 Vikings at the Metrodome. The Ravens love to run the rock with Ray Rice, and then use Joe Flacco to control the game, much like the Vikings. But the Vikings have a more explosive offense. Leslie Frazier said earlier this week "You'll see a Vikings offense you've never seen before."
The Vikings defense held the explosive Lions offense to 4 field goals, and picked off Matthew Stafford 4 times. The defensive line harassed him all day, forcing him to make mistakes. Brian Robison made the right tackle look like a fool.
The Vikings offense controlled the clock, as Adrian Peterson ran the ball over 20 times for another 100 yard game, and a score. Christian Ponder threw a touchdown to Kyle Rudolph, for the 4th consecutive game.
The Vikings improve to 6-1 on the year, and control the NFC North.

The limping Lions travel to Minneapolis to face the Vikings, both teams looking to get to the top of the NFC North. The Vikings hold it now, but a loss would move them into a tie with the Lions. The Vikings have been winning games with great defense, and their offense doing just enough with the opportunities. The Lions have been without some defensive playmakers, so Stafford has been carrying the team. The Vikings will need to slow down the pass attack.
This was supposed to be a shootout, or a close game at least, but the Vikings dominated all aspects of the game. The Falcons never had good field position, due to the leg of Chris Kluwe. Matt Ryan threw 3 interceptions that all led to points, digging them a 21 point hole. Michael Turner ran the ball well early, but the deficit forced the game into Ryan's hands, and when Julio Jones left with injury, the offense slowed down.
The Vikings played very well in all aspects, despite losing Percy Harvin early on a kickoff return. The Vikings improve to 4-1.

A rematch of the 2014 NFC Championship Game between the Vikings and the Falcons. The Falcons started a disappointing 0-2, but now are surging on a 2-0 run, destroying their past two opponents with their high powered passing attack. The Vikings defense found success in defending Matt Ryan last year, but it will not be the same kind of game. Christian Ponder is also looking to continue his success, he is enjoying his best year as a pro.
Vikings win close game on the arm of Christian Ponder
Christian Ponder threw for 3 touchdowns and over 300 yards, in his best game of the year. He connected with Randall Cobb for 77 yards on the game winner with 5 minutes to go. The offense has been clicking, and Ponder is becoming more confident with himself and his receivers.
