I like the basic gameplay, using Matt's sliders. I haven't played 24, but I think the overall pace on the pitch is pretty good. I didn't like the game's simulation sliders, which altered the AI's (and my own) defensive capabilities too much.
On the other hand, I found something I didn't like in 23: passing a defender in one-on-one at speed is too simple, at least in World Class. In Legendary it looks much better, and I found that the pace of the game didn't increase that much compared to World Class, as it did in previous editions.
The AI's defensive marking on deep calls is also too lax, but that's perhaps also due to the personal defensive roles, I'm not sure.
In any case, I think the base is good, and with a more tenacious defence and midfield, we could have a great game.

When you say you saw more fouls with that increase, how many are you talking about? I am curious with the addition of that new tackle slider to see if it could indeed get us close to real life foul totals (I would take double digit if anything) or if that is still a dream.

Just tried this but with the speed related ones (sprint, Acc, Pass and Shot Speed) slightly reduced... And with the pass and shot error slightly increased.

Two games, legendary, 30 minutes, both finished 0-0. Which I'm very pleased about.

The animations are completely broken when reducing the sprint speed, but I'll settle for that if it means slowing the game down.

Also, reducing the CPU dribble all the way down doesn't mean they never dribble, but they a less annoying and shoot more often, which is a big plus.

I have played over 25 games on FC 25. Two things to note. It seems almost impossible to play with a sprint speed of 38 or less. I found a good relationship between sprint speed (40), pass speed (42)and first touch error (95) which makes possession play quite addictive. This year marking will be important, I am playing on ultimate difficulty and defending is too passive on 51, 52. Finally I am testing the value between 68 and 72. I adopted Matt's line height value of 40 and it works great.

whats the reason we are using a line height of 40 as opposed to a higher one (58 or above) which i am starting to see people use?

The goal here is to give the midfielders more room to breathe. Height serves as an upfield pressure/marking mechanic, so higher it is will squeeze players up the pitch, even though they are trying to retreat and come back and tackle someone from behind.

I can't lie this game has a lot of potential especially with new the AI behavior slider section, we just gotta give ourselves some time to figure out what works best.
