Re: EA SPORTS FC25 OS Community Sliders

I can’t wait too see what Matt10 and the OS slider team will bring for the first base set ,I’m enjoying the game so far whit few tweaks but I’m confident the sliders community will come to a consensus of something nice to start up this EAFC season, mostly playing some kickoff game right now and really loving the CPU sliders option can really do wonders whit this new addition!!

Re: EA SPORTS FC25 OS Community Sliders

Im just using the simulation sliders on legendary with tactical CPU sliders. My first observation is that I'm still concerned about my players not reacting to the ball much in general. I believe a lot of everything else can be fixed through sliders. Tbh I don't think the simulation sliders even make players move and look real. Idk who came up with these lol

I think the one of the most important thing this year is the wide .Apparently every team plays with the same wide size but not everyone works like that. Waiting for the Matt's Vision .

Excited to try out the simulation sliders as being able to make the AI attack more will be great (if it actually works).

But played a game last night and we're still in the eternal struggle between pace of the game Vs responsiveness. It seems that the only way we get a slower pace is when it's coupled with hideous input lag/players being locked into animations. They're 2 different things. Wish the best dribblers could turn on a dime, or you could quickly shift feet and burst past somebody but that the ball speed/general pace of players was much lower. Sliders can only help with that so far

Yeah I'm just trying to figure out the game speed and formation aspect to play something that resembles real football

Re: EA SPORTS FC25 OS Community Sliders

Played the free trial for about 3 hours today. It's a truly horrendous game.

Even with the so-called "simulation" setting, it doesn't look anything like football. The speed of the game is atrocious.

Problem is, if you reduce sprint and/or acceleration too much, the game breaks, with players getting stuck in animations and unable to run at all.

Anyone expecting "simulation" to be realistic needs to remember that this is "simulation" according to EA Sports who don't know the meaning of the word.

Reducing pass and shot speed and increasing error rates is all helping somewhat. But the speed is looking really tricky to get to a position where the game doesn't look like you're watching it on youtube in 2x speed yet not break the game.

Although the new sliders this year could be useful. I toned down their dribbling and one touch passing and it definitely works.

I'm not paying £70 for this garbage as is though. Will wait to see what Matt can come up with and continue the trial. If it's not playable I'm simply not wasting my money on it. The current state is terrible.

Don't think this is a forum for you to vent.

Matt wants helpful comments to get the game in a good place.

I'm curious what settings you've used to get that slow speed feel. I haven't been able to get there yet. Would be a great help!
