While I enjoyed the first Golf Club and still play occasionally, I don't see myself picking up TGC2. With Everybody Loves Golf releasing in late August, I don't see myself playing this much after ELG releases. And I have so many other games that I'm playing right now, or trying to play right now, that I just don't see TGC2 getting much playing time.

Odogg, if you have more than 1 controller, you can play local multiplayer without having to share a controller. That same streamer had a friend over and they were using separate controllers.

Do you know if I can play online with a friend and team up against another pair? In four ball or match play?

You can play with a friend and play two rivals or two ghosts if you want in stroke or any other modes.

So it doesn't sound like online play was improved at all then. Disappointing. Was hoping it would be a step up from last game.

It has definitely improved. Rivals is a neat addition that allows playing live. And you can turn the turn order on and it'll show you their shot in order as you are playing without affecting the other player, that's awesome IMO.

I don't get the issue with ghost balls, I enjoy them and they spent time tweaking them so they aren't making your shots easier by watching their ball first.

You could do this in TGC1.

I was hoping to actually be able to pair up with a friend and play two others in 4ball and other modes. Was just looking for online to take a step up in general.

Rivals were not in TGC1. Go check their YouTube for a better explanation. But I understand, options are always better and would be nice to have those features.

Not sure what I'm missing. My buddy and
I use rivals in TGC1 and turn on turn order to see each other's shots. It's listed under online multiplayer on their site too.

"ONLINE MULTIPLAYER

Play online against your friends and rivals. Hundreds of players can be on a course at any time and you can either play your round at your own speed against their Live balls or play turn-based against up to three others."

Maybe they revamped it or something but the rivals feature is definitely there in TGC1.

Getting this on PC; is there any way to play tournaments or anything else cross-platform? I didn't do this in the original even if it was possible, so apologies if this isn't a new feature.

You can share courses cross platform but not play cross platform unless you use TGCtours.com

About to pre-download once the two kids calm down. I think someone above said it 8+ gb on Pro. Any confirm size for regular PS4? Might have to delete a few things to be able to download

I have this game set and ready to go. Any Pro enhancements? They haven't uttered a word. TGC1 was 3.36gb's or so on the PS4, The Pro is 8.74gb or so, but there is a career mode this year.
