It's easier to get a laugh out of it all, rather than try to make sense of it. That's a dangerous game

I'm just waiting for the patch notes from 2K

Game plays exactly the same. Cant tell any difference. I am a MLO guy though.

7 patches in 2 and a half months is nuts

Anxious for those patch notes. This game pretty much is what it is. So I am not sure what needed patching.

Only thing I can hope for that I know is a longshot is better movement/control on my guy on D and not to be literally pulled in different directions by 2K even while D assist is on 0. Just don't understand why I have to fight the game for control of myself.

People complaining about the amount of patches? I rather them patch it as many times as necessary to get everything right. I don't care how many times it's patched

not really a complaint per say if you're talking about me. just more of a statement. there are a few pros and cons to all the patching depending on how you want to look at it. Plus you got all the people that spent VC for a game that's way different than what they might have expected at the time of using it.

Edit: Actually the more I think about it, the more I lean toward the patching being a bad thing. Like when is the finished game going to come out you know.

I agree man. I'm sure we would all like the game to release and be in good condition from the get go with 1-2 patches max a cycle to fix major issues that may have slipped past testing but when you are pushing a game out every year and trying to add more and more stuff every time stuff like this happens just look at Assassins Creed. But I mean at least they are recognizing that things don't work and are trying to fix them and make the game better.

Yeah no doubt these devs are in a tough spot. There was obviously some stuff that hasn't worked as intended (or at all) but they don't have the luxury of pushing the release date back like every other non sports game.

The defensive recovery on these acute offensive cuts is very damming... it's a horrible handicap on defense. We need something to police this until defensive locomotion can get the attention it deserves.

I remember someone shared a video on zig zaging in week 1 but it didn't reveal what we are seeing today. I'm sure that person is smiling now lol and thinking, "I told yall we had a problem on our hands but yall didn't see it!"

👌

I get that frustration. Madden has had patches that killed a part of the game and it's not the same one I played in august and it's made me stop playing it. It may not be intentional, but it is what it is.

However, there are positive things done with the patches Madden has done despite that, and the 2k patches fixed a lot to the point I'm back playing it regularly again after putting it down due to some issues.

I just feel if something is broken or not working as intended on release do what's necessary to fix it.

For perspective, I play myleague and play now games only. I can't speak on the online portion

It's not about the amount, it's about what they are patching, they seem to be patching the same crap over and over again, instead of fixing other stuff that is broke. So why keep patching the same crap? Like I said earlier they have a major game play mechanic that is literally BROKEN your ACE on or off you can't control your Defense because it select and deselects your Defense and gets stuck in "Shrink the Floor" so all the Defense you basically see as an end user is "Shrink the Floor". They have known about this since Patch 1.01/1.02/1.03/1.04/1.05/1.06 and 1.07 and they do not acknowledge this broken "gameplay mechanic" at all.

Had more of an issue with mediocre shooters hitting open shots at a high rate. ive seen guys like evan turner come off a down screen and catch and shoot like ray allen...thats a shot you shouldt even be comfortable with.

Shame, still no patch for shot-feedback for myPark and practice.

# 99 coachcolbert @ 12/07/16 01:19 AM
my honest opinion, park gameplay was cool. dont know if it was placebo effect or not but i def felt like i hit almost EVERY open jumper, and missed just about EVERY contested shot (as a shot creator, it nerfed a couple of my moves. but i got moves for days lol no worries)

i kept getting lagged out of walk on. no matter if i was joining from the park or mycourt. so i cant give my opinion on gameplay there.

About this...isn't this more of a ratings/tendency issue? Beds needs to clean up the whole league....some players shouldn't have more that 2 badges.
