NBA 2K17 Patch 1.07 Available Now For PS4 & Xbox One - Patch Notes Included

NBA 2K17 patch 1.07 is available now for PlayStation 4 and soon for Xbox One. The patch notes have not been released, but this post will get updated when they arrive.

Until then, let us know what you're seeing.

UPDATE #3: (12-14) The patch is available now for Xbox One.

GENERAL
  • Support for the NBA 2K17 European All-Star Tournament as well as the forthcoming NBA 2K17 All-Star Tournament.
  • Performance increase for users playing in the Old Town, Sunset Beach, and Ante-Up parks.
  • Reduced the effectiveness of shooting after excessive dribbling to achieve better game balance.

You really gotta make a choice man, your either the greatest person alive to ever load up a game of 2K or you are a cheeser who exploits game mechanics that don't work as intended then had a meltdown when that broken mechanic is fixed or made to work as intended. Take your pick. Can't be both though.

The best players on 2k are the cheesiest players. Hell the best players on ANY game are ones that seem cheesy.

Doesn't hinder my game one bit. However, let's see if 2k goes heavy-handed with the patch, as they usually do. (i.e., 3 simple dribbles and you're putting up an open D- rated shot)

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game? I had a similar problem on The Show last year and after I did that it seemed to fix it. That was on the regular PS4 though

I'm sorry but I come here to read up on what's everyone experiencing. Not the I whine every chance I get. Each patch thread might as well be the Philly thread because so far that's what this thread has become.

OT: So has contested shots been nerfed? Cpu already ignore contested shots....especially when the shot clock goes to the last second.

Mike said there would be an update tomorrow, to nerf contested shooting.

I think he was the saying the ability to hit contested shots was nerfed.

Not your ability to contest shots on defense.

Beluba confirmed it's left stick zig-zaging that will be addressed. The right stick dribble moves are not intended to take a hit when used to create a shot.

According to beluba's twitter the dribble shot fix is the only gameplay improvement in the entire patch.
