"More" is the problem.

Wish they would post patch notes prior to releasing the patch. I need something to give me some hope that I can enjoy 2K17

I'd appreciate it even on the patch's release date. It'd help to know instead of just a generic "Improved & fixed gameplay issues and bugs". No hate on 2K, but it seems like this is the only game I have on my PS4 that, literally, says just that statement.

What's the definition of "soon"? I think most had already assumed that the next patch was going to address the roster updates, Pro-Am, and the "more".

Its a Must. %70 of scoring comes after moving screens in the park. No skill required

Well, people have been clamoring for some communication, so here it is, at least a little. Let's at least acknowledge that.

"Soon" probably means this week, at least on PSN. What this tweet confirms is what many suspected based on some Beluba comments this week: the patch has most likely been submitted to the game platforms, and it's in their hands to deploy now.

I agree about the communication. I was never on that bandwagon where people were demanding communication. Based on what you're saying, then this tweet is really good news.

It'll be better news if XB1 users get the patch at the same time as the PS4 users .

My belief is the reason you don't get patch notes prior to release is they more than likely don't thoroughly test the game after the patch. They have a fix list and the strike off the things that work once verified by the public. Once it's verified as working and non working, time to release patch notes to reflect the publics findings.

The things they don't speak on is the most troubling part of this patch process.

They don't utter a word about Defense or A.C.E. and both of these things are Broken. All they talk about is, "improve gameplay" a very generic statement. If those things aren't addressed specifically and they are very noticeable issues after 5 patches what's the point.

Hopefully relentless finisher badge is being fixed as well. My slasher is downright useless atm with that badge being buggy. Cant make a contact layup to save my life.

I chuckled at the new 2KTV episode because Scott OG is saying how ACE in MyCareer makes a lot of teams defend you differently and scoring is lower and etc. I am looking like what?

Every single game I just get doubled the same exact way and I am scoring way more than I did in 2K16. At least in 2K16 some teams played me without doubling. If they are going to double at least make it difficult and not a silly double team that leaves a big man open right in the paint everytime.

The only obvious sign of ACE is Kawhi or Klay guarding me. That's it.

I almost dropped my controller when I saw him discussing that...
ACE is horrendous this year and its not just the defensive CPU ACE for OG but Czar and his adjustments to transition offense as well as CPU off IQ level when running plays has been atrociously bad compared to past 2k's on superstar or HOF difficulty.

The main problems with CPU ACE is the double teaming with jr. high level help defense and rotations off double teams (in other words none at all) and when CPU players dig on post players, the digging OG implemented is nothing but the CPU spamming the steal button and racking up reach in fouls. CPU Curry picked up 3 fouls in 2 minutes because I kept posting up Anthony Davis on his side of the court and Curry would "dig" b/c the ACE told him Anthony Davis was hot, but curry would just slap at the ball picking up foul after foul...

The animations and fluidity of the game is a big upgrade from 2k16, but the CPU IQ took a noticeable step back when playing on SS or HOF

Here are some things Im seeing.

The CPU always varying its pick and roll coverage based on who theyare playing and who is hot/cold. Sometimes they go over, under, switch, hedge, stay attached.

They cross match bigs a lot. Often the CPU will put their 5 on my Blake Griffin if theyy have a small 4.

They switch on late game defensive possessions.

They double off your poorest shooter.

They double at good times (although yeah its over done).

They put their best defenders on your best scorers regardless of position.

Doesn't happen for me at all. Besides the Kawhi or Klay being on you. Doesn't really happen for any other team besides the obvious like it was in 2K16. Other than that. The doubles are very random. They'll send a big all the way to you from the paint and leave a big right under the rim.

This defensive ACE stuff is nothing like he was saying for me. Almost every team plays the same exact way on defense. Which is why this is the easiest HOF has ever been for me.

And we have to be playing a different game. They double at good times? Wow. That might be the craziest thing I've heard this year about this game. I can get 20 assist a game off the horrible doubles they send. And score 60 if I wanted to. Even a dev said they looking at working on them. Wow the double teams are nowhere near sent at good times. I wish I had your copy.

My leading scorer is only averaging 22 ppg, so that may be why Im not seeing a heap of doubles. The CPU does have a tendency to double one pass away off good shooters which I hope is fixed up.

Here's a really simple one. I play with the Clippers. Most teams go over the PNR with Paul. They always go under on Felton.

Who do you play with?
