NBA 2K17 Patch 1.05 Coming Soon, Fixes Roster Update Issue, Pro-Am & More

NBA 2K17 patch 1.05 is coming soon, according to the official NBA 2K Twitter account. The tweet confirms update 1.04 introduced issues for the team to update rosters.

Pro-Am divergences will also be addressed, but nothing specific was detailed. Once the patch is available and/or we get more details, we will let everyone know.

The life of this game is riding on this patch. I love the dev team over at 2k as I think they are great basketball minds and developers....but the way 2K17 was released was unacceptable.

I'd gladly wait until Oct release if that means we get a more stable game.

Well I did pay a lot of money for this game and VC, and the mode I was most interested in has been broken for almost a month soooooooo...............

Very true. That's why I hate folks getting their hopes up with speculation. If peak hours go by with no patch, some people are going to snap.

me too. You're not the only one.

If 2K explicitly said "patch 1.05 will be released on November 1, 2016" and no patch was released, I could understand outrage. But all they said was "soon." They never put a date on it. Everyone is just speculating

I hear you, but in this case, soon better be ASAP lol. The people are getting restless.

It does seem like these things do release Tuesday, so if not this Tuesday then probably the next. I unfortunately have nowhere to go as I got the game digitally, and I imagine many of us did (lesson learned) So I am not going to pretend like I'm going to lose interest forever.

and I'm sure they are releasing it ASAP. But ASAP doesn't necessarily mean today. From the results of the last patch, I would rather wait another few days than get the patch today and just have it break something else in the game.

If you check out the last patch thread here -- http://www.operationsports.com/forum...-included.html -- You can see Steve didn't post anything until much later in the day, so if it does come today, it may not be until dinner time (in the east).

the actual patch notes were released many hours after the patch was available though.

EDIT: Someone had posted a thread saying the patch was available to download at 12:26 PM. (http://www.operationsports.com/forum...4-out-ps4.html )

is this patch likely to fix much in terms of mygm/myleague gameplay. I'm referring to player tendencies, rebounds etc ??

Really hope if it dosen't come out today that it doesn't mean we have to wait till next Tuesday. The roster update problem that's preventing roster updates is the main thing that makes the wait hard.

It'd be nice to get it before the weekend. Gonna be stuck at a wedding for the whole weekend with my girl's friends, and I heard the resort we're staying in doesn't have any decent internet.

Somebody asked LD2K if the patch was coming out today and he said he's gonna find out. I hope that it does even tho I have a xb1 and it won't come Til the end of the week if so

You all need to start posting vids so game developers have proof that your complaints are valid.

The biggest reason they feel they have to crank on ball defense up is because they know their help defense is broken.

Least you guys have hope...I play on Steam so who knows when we will get the patch, lol. I now refuse to even play until they fix the myriad of issues they need to fix plus all the problems they've patched in as well since launch (ffs) and I have over 220 hours on the game so far so I was GRINDING at first. Then they patched it back to 2K16 sluggish gameplay. I've got so many good shooters to play now anyways and I'm straight addicted to Titanfall 2 so I'm not that mad luckily.
