For those that have not played a game with the new tuner and want to 'trade the game in', i'd suggest playing a game first.

I have two games in under the new tuner and feel the the new changes have added nothing but positives to the overall product.

Overall I like the tuner I see some vast improvements on pass rush, cpu rushing, suction blocking and QB awareness. ..

Good job!!!

Has anyone noticed a change in the QBs throwing the ball out of bounds from within the pocket to avoid sacks? It's only one game, but I played Jacksonville in my Bears CFM last night and Bortles didn't throw one ball out of bounds, but there were maybe 3-4 balls he threw in the playing field that weren't near anyone, plus he threw one deep ball right to my safety, when he caught the ball there wasn't a WR within 5 yards of him. It looked kind of like a punt. Anyway it was only one game but it felt different to me. This was on all pro with default sliders

i understand that many people play this game daily and are very much aware of every tweak, tuner & patch.

apologies that this being a problem for you.

Did the tuner update automatically, or do I have to go to EA for download?

Should pop up automatically, may need to turn your console off and then back on and reload the game for it to come up. Sometimes I have to unplug the power cord from the back and turn it back on to get it to restart the game.

On ps4, is it r1 or L1 that causes fumbles? I may be totally off, but I thought the manual said L1 but a loading screen said R1..

You are correct my bad. I overreacted. I just like the game so much that I would hate to see go to the wrong direction.

Anyway, yesterday I played only one game so it was just me game but what I notice is.

Good:
-Rush defense. Defenders take better angles when pursuit.
-Still saw a couple organic knockouts
-It's harder to run
-the game still feels the same as before.

Bad:
-I'm wondering if the cpu will still get games with good rushing. Since it was only one game hopefully this doesn't mean all games will be like this.
-safeties are getting most of the tackles. (3-4)

Same:
-Qb accuracy still to high. Both qb end up with 71% exact on both and 300yds shy. (Gabbert - Carr). I need to see a bit more of erratic throws from the user. Specially Gabbert [emoji5]

-I didn't see any improvement on the qb awareness. Carr drop back and he actually ran backwards to the side loosing even more yds on the sack. EA really need to focus on qb behavior next time. This will improve the experience 100%.

Wish:
Madden 2018 just focus on getting OL pass rush/interaction and qb behavior and keep all the rest the same and I will still buy it

it's ok. i get it. thanks rich.

i recognise i'm a different type of madden player. my play time is similar to most a casual gamer but i'm a offline CFM guy (who wants deep realism) and will never change.

i'm not on social media and don't pay attention to key developments like hardcore madden CFM guys do.

when i come here looking for specific answers, it can be hard to find them when so many people play online CFM but don't necessarily say it. you have to read between the lines & sometimes, after a lot of reading, you just gotta ask.

gotta say, reducing the throw out of sack would get me one extra sack per game. especially when facing the better QB like rodgers, wilson, cam et al.

Just played 2 games on All Madden and I def noticed the changes in the running game ... Things seem tighter and even when the CPU pressed on coverage I could not throw over the top like before . The defenders catch up and play the ball to where it looks authentic and not a cheese play anymore .

Def like how all madden feels than before

# 155 Brooke2011 @ 09/24/16 09:46 PM
After some more games... I noticed some different interactions with the WR's. Their attempt to catch the ball or the way they bobble catches instead of just generically dropping them seams better. The CPU run game def has been tuned to not brake every tackle on All Madden

After playing all night. I prefer launch version better. With latest changes it just feel less organic and more scripted.

Yeah game already seems patched into oblivion after the first tuner release in August. My defenders were playing the run then they supposedly released a tuner to help them play better that really only lead to them playing worse.

Feels good after this tuner to be honest. Before this though it felt lousy.

Pass rush needs work, my players actually stick to their defensive assignments now which is nice though.
