NBA 2K17 Face Scan App (MyNBA2K17) Available For Android & iOS Devices

MyNBA2K17 is available now for Android users on the Google Play Store and according to Ronnie, it is scheduled to arrive for iOS devices at 6:00 AM PST.

UPDATE #2: The servers are down.

UPDATE #3: The servers are up and MyTEAM Mobile seems to work, but switching over to NBA 2K17 to get a face scan, gives you the following error:

Ronnie also mentions that you won't be able to see your scan until The Prelude is released on Friday, but you will be able to scan your face with the app.

I really wish you could preview these on your phone like Live let you. I'm at work and I have the perfect lighting but I won't know if it turned out good until I get home.

Looks like a CAP version of sasha vujavic lol. Doesn't look like you to me. Maybe the hairstyle and haircolor affects it a lot. The glasses too might affect the comparison. The face doesn't look bad - hair differences might be it.

Yeah, my hair is unfortunately not in the game, and while I need glasses, I usually wear them more for framing than anything. Without glasses, I look even more awkward than I usually do.

My hair color is also hard to pin down. I don't have black hair, but my hair is way darker than "brown". The light's reflection betrays it, but my hair is closer to the shade in the game than it is in the picture I provided somehow.

While it's far from perfect from my view, it captured my facial features well (it captured the two prominent zits I presently have, in addition to the little dimpley thing above my chin, and my eye brow shape.

Wish I could use the face I had in 2k15. Used that same face in 2k16 cause I can NEVER get my face right after the good one I had in 2k15.

I agree with the face for sure - just meant more for overall comparison. Hey atleast you got a decent scan and not a monster one lol.

I was legit scared for my life that was going to happen. I perceive myself to be below average looking to begin with, with my self-esteem issues, so I was like "with all these monster scans, I'm going to just look absolutely hideous".

It's boosted my self-opinion just marginally, lol.

Maybe I'm feeling spoiled, but I miss Live's scan from last year. They got my crooked broken nose right. My un-even ears. Even my eye color. One picture, no problems. No rendering of pixels and having it stall at 65% where only a small portion of my face is showing.

Man everytime i do this thing i get two pairs of lips. This is getting annoying as hell. The one great scan I had I wasnt able to use because I had 4 lips. Good grief

Didn't have a chance to use it but looks pretty good.
