NBA 2K17 Face Scan App (MyNBA2K17) Available For Android & iOS Devices

MyNBA2K17 is available now for Android users on the Google Play Store and according to Ronnie, it is scheduled to arrive for iOS devices at 6:00 AM PST.

UPDATE #2: The servers are down.

UPDATE #3: The servers are up and MyTEAM Mobile seems to work, but switching over to NBA 2K17 to get a face scan, gives you the following error:

As we hear anything, we will continue to update this post, but let us know what you're seeing.

Ronnie also mentions that you won't be able to see your scan until The Prelude is released on Friday, but you will be able to scan your face with the app.

I completed my face scan and uploaded the images, but it is taking FOREVER to copy the game (Prelude). Currently at 84% after like an hour.

It took a while for mine, too. Probably due to everybody downloading it at once I would guess. It's worth the wait, though!

Woke up 2 hours early to get my scan in before work. Was a hilarious process going back and forth between my bathroom and my bedroom with my phone taking pics of myself. Had a few monsters (I will share those when I get home) but at the end I got that image above. Lol I don't think my head is THAT big and I think my face is alittle more centered than that but it's cool seeing myself in the game.

Also safe to say the ladies that liked me liked me for my personality and not my ummmmm handsome face. [emoji23]

How far away from you from the camera?
How often did you rotate your face?

I had one scan that was off, but playable. I should've kept that one. I've been getting some horrible scans lol.

I had my phone alittle shorter than my arms length away from me and as for the turning the head it was weird. When I turned right it got all the necessary shots easily but when I turned left I got every shot except the last one every time but I'm guessing that's more maybe because how I held my phone.

Sorry to hear everyone is having issues uploading their scans. I manyhave been lucky because I was doing it at 2 in the morning. Every scan (6 of them) went through with no issues.

My battery is down to 5%. Was at it for like 2 hours and only managed to get one scan into the game, which was terrible. Screw it.

I've tried like 15 times, and none of the scans I could get were decent enough to use. A lot of errors and unfocused faces, I've had enough for now. I might try later, but I'm tired of it. I almost prefer the PS4 cam than this, at least I could get it right after 2-3 attempts.

I keep getting a valid nba 2k17 save is not found? Any idea why? The prelude has been downloaded to my Xbox. How am I supposed to scan my face if I can't log in?

Did you start the game first? If it helps try 2kU then go to create your player. At that point a save would have been created.

I got really good ones for my NZ account but now my normal acct one is stuck on 36% forever even when i restart smh
