The 2K development team traveled to all 30 NBA arenas to record and analyze the different sounds exclusive to each arena. Logging thousands of miles to bring you the most authentic experience in a sports game ever, watch how each arena in NBA 2K17 will have it's own flavor and be more realistic than ever before.
Either way, as disappointed as I am, I will still be giving 2K my $60 on the 16th.

Those individuals should agree to open relationships from the get go.
I for one will not be buying it this year. I'm not buying because I am certain the halftime and end of the game highlights are still not fixed for the PS4 on 12 minute quarters.
I didn't buy NBA2k15 because they took out the halftime show with Damon Bruce's voice over (I understand why they did because of what Bruce said in real life; I still love his show, listen to it everyday); I bought NBA2k16 because they added back a halftime show, unfortunately, they should have also kept the technology used for the halftime show in NBA2k14 when scores and upcoming games around the league were mentioned. NBA2k16 still plays a solid game of virtual basketball and I'll get my NBA2k17 (along with NBA2k18 and NBA2k19 and NBA2k20) fix through youtube if 2k doesn't fix the halftime/end of game highlights on the PS4. I might switch over to the XBOX if it comes down to it (because the highlights work on the XBOX, not this year because Scorpio isn't getting released), but as of this minute, I'm keeping my $65.
I honestly thought arena lighting was fixed with all the hype talk but after playing a few games i can say they have the same bright lighting in each arena. I would post pictures but im not sure if thats allowed.

Don't see why not since this site is already posting leaked gameplay footage.
Since you already have it post pictures for all teams if possible. Everyone here will appreciate it.

How does it sound? It's the right thread to talk about it....
As far as the rim and net sounds I love it but something tells me that theyll be using the recycled sounds from 2K16 and other past 2K games updating bits and pieces adding more dept to the crowd sounds hopefully they get the pistons announcer right they had Mason before If im correct sorry if im wrong I wonder why they didnt renew the contract..
Sent over a note re: Knicks and Bucks court based on your feedback to our art team.
Can't go into details re: this but we work with the NBA on their floors. However, if there is something that we can do to make something better, will bring it up to the team.
I wish I could say that 2K doesn't treat the lower teams any different, but I'll never forget the Cavs court issue in 2K11. It was so far off, it wasn't even funny. The Cavs even showed off the court in July. I'm gonna take sides with WISports on this one. The Bucks court isn't even close. As far as the trailer goes, the fact that they showed authentic chants that have already been in the game, is a red flag. They still have the same Cavs free throw made sound since 2009. If they could just bring back custom arena sounds, and pair those with custom arenas, none of this would be a problem.

Thank you LD. You guys really did an outstanding job with the game this year.
Did you read my whole post, or just that sentence?
Of course I read, even though it's the same exact thing you've been saying on an almost regular basis for the last 2-3 years.
-You love the NBA(we all do otherwise we wouldn't be posting here)
-You love art such as uni colors, skin tones and court(Lord know you've made that known for a while now)
-You think the Art Team is either lazy or don't care about correcting a simple issue and it bothers you. Especially when it's about YOUR team.
But yet you keep giving them your money even though your beefs are still there, lol. You've made it known that you've sent them emails, DMs, comments on here, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and are still being ignored.
If that was happening to my team, I'd either wait for a patch to come out and see if it corrected the issue and if it didn't, just skip out on it until it got corrected.

Hey LD, would you mind doing us all a small favor and just offer some clarification, even if just in a sentence or two, as to what you and the marketing team means when you refer to Arena specific lighting?
As a Heat season ticket holder, I can pretty much see everyone across from me in their seats, specifically the entire 100's section. Even up to the nosebleeds, while those do get a little darker, they aren't completely blacked out.
In 2k17, all arena's get too dark from about halfway up the 100's section. Very good example is the shot of Philly's crowd in this trailer. This is NOT how 27 of the 30 (Lakers differ from Clippers) arenas are in real life.
The one's that are darker, Barclays, MSG, and Lakers' Staples (NOT for Clippers) are blacked out pretty much from row 4 and up.
Again, even if it's brief, could you offer clarification on what the team means by arena specific lighting. We see what the audio team did, and other than each arena having the same voice actor doing the PA, it's incredible. We are just all hoping and wishing that the visuals would match up to create a truly authentic arena experience.
Thank you for all your efforts in communicating with us and the rest of the community! It is appreciated.

Glad to see a response. I had a feeling that the NBA would have some approval over this.
