The 2K development team traveled to all 30 NBA arenas to record and analyze the different sounds exclusive to each arena. Logging thousands of miles to bring you the most authentic experience in a sports game ever, watch how each arena in NBA 2K17 will have it's own flavor and be more realistic than ever before.
This. I love when people just throw around the term copyright.

It's a pet peeve of mine. It's almost as bad as those ridiculously silly "This is not mine - I don't claim ownership" copyright disclaimers on youtube videos which clearly infringe an author's rights.

Or people who post those copyright statuses on Facebook
SMH...I have never seen such nit picking in my life. I'm really trying to figure if I have low expectations, or just want to complain about something.
I'm listening to the trailer on my Xbox on XB1 headphones via the YouTube application, and I definitely can hear the differences. It's night and day to me. I choose to watch the video trailer on this matter, because it's how I'm going to play the game.
I can hear there differences in the net sounds.... regular shot going in versus one where it "rips" the net.
I can hear the differences in the sounds when the ball interacts with basket. There are TWO sounds when it hits the backboard and then the rim.
Obviously, there was the different sounds when the ball hits the court.
For same arenas, I could hear the differences acoustic differences between the crowds. Some crowds sounded "clearer" and some sounded more "muffled".
Different PA announcers....
Different horn sounds....
I'm impressed personally, but some people seem like they just like to complain about something. I'm about to fire up NBA 2K16 to really compare now.
The 2k art team needs to be in these forums addressing why certain aspects of 2k visuals aren't true to life or authentic to the sports also so they can get some feedback from the 2k community #Facts

Only video game fans demand a person or people personally address why an aspect of their work is incorrect.
There is a post from a company rep saying that the issue will get looked into and that the nba is somewhat involved. That should be enough.
Hey LD, would you mind doing us all a small favor and just offer some clarification, even if just in a sentence or two, as to what you and the marketing team means when you refer to Arena specific lighting?.
The teams used light measuring equipment to measure the heat of the light and adjust it for every arena.
Just a thought: sometimes atmosphere in an arena looks and sounds differently in person than it does via tv broadcast. I don't think it's fair to compare tv screenshots for that reason. If there's a design flaw that's different but color tones can vary as can sound quality.
I also started out saying I love the game...that I have more fun playing 2K than both Madden and MLB The Show. Yet you conveniently left that out.
Keep being a (choose a word) tho. Your sig definitely fits you.
I didn't leave it out about you saying you the love the game. It falls into my first point about you loving the NBA otherwise you wouldn't be posting about it everyday, lol.
Wasn't trying to be ***hole at all(Couldve just called me that instead of throwing a subliminal at me. Wouldn't have been bothered by it in the slightest, lol). Was just giving some advice.
I didn't buy NBA2k15 because they took out the halftime show with Damon Bruce's voice over (I understand why they did because of what Bruce said in real life; I still love his show, listen to it everyday)
Dude anyone who doesnt buy a fantastic sports sim for these reasons, is looking for reasons to complain.
Perhaps because they did it live and you're watching a filtered tv broadcast. Did you want it to look like it does on TV or in person? That's a call 2K has to make.
I've been to many Pistons game live and seen hundreds of times more games on TV. Totally different experience for the senses.

So true TNT makes The AAA (miami heat) all bright. When in person its very dim orangey color i can't explain. the Toronto Arena is also very smokey looking sometimes on tv.
