Outside of the atmosphere/crowd, this has been my biggest pet peeve.

Luckily Freelance was pretty good last year so I stuck with that but I always prefer to call plays on most of my possessions.

I hope so. My friends and I play with most of the teams in the league at some point. I/we don't have time to perfect everyone's jumper. And timing seemed to play a part in shot success even with %shooting.

Real FG% is still an option. Yes.

Thanks!

I know it's been in, requiring a settings adjustment. I want to make sure it wasn't removed with the addition of timing required for all shots.

He will pick up on ALL the little awesome nuances you created and he will know what needs to be improved specifically for it to be a better game.
I've been playing NBA video games since 2001. He is my #1 choice to represent the hardcore guys.

Just please don't listen to all the screaming teenagers on social media this year lol. Their bias suggestions don't really improve the game from the bigger perspective.

Yep. We love Sam Pham. Looking forward to his breakdowns for sure.

beluba, will u add any new broadcast camera angles? i wish u would add the warriors camera angle as another option, with the option zoom in a bit more.

Very detailed blog.. Could the new collision system mean more realistic and accurate foul calls?

Great blog, Mike. I'm loving everything I'm hearing, this should be a fun & exciting year of 2k basketball. I do have an unrelated question that has yet to be answered: will Pro AM have commentary? I feel like this is something that all Pro AM heads have wanted and it'd be nice to know if we got it along with the other numerous improvements of the mode.

Will our ai teammates react the same way the cpu does? As far as reaction times to inside passes and cuts.

I spent a couple days updating the broadcast dynamic stadium-specific cameras to better match the real life broadcast angles. I think Oracle is a tad closer now.

cool, but it's under stadium cameras. i would love to have the option to use the warriors camera alone as my main camera, just as beluba cam and the generic broadcast cam. both i love.

Mike is the hands up right stick defense in?

All of this sounds great. I can't wait to actually play it for myself. I wonder if the re-designed fatigue and injury systems mean that we will actually see severe on court injuries?

Mike what is the boost that you get when shooting with the pro stick as opposed to square/X... if I'm using the stick and my opponent is using buttons will i have an advantage?

They are trying to bring back NBA Street Gamebreakers with allowing alley-oop passes out of shots and even other alley-oops lol.

I'll need to see what the caps are looking like but based on the MyCareer trailer it looks like the archetypes are a little too restrictive. No all-around archetype? Or even 3&D? We should be able to improve a little past the caps based on in game performance, practice drills, etc but that's a whole other discussion.

Overall, great news in this blog though.

Just to note: You could already throw Oops out of shots and lay ups. You can do it in 2k16. The oops out of oops is something I've wanted for a long while. You guys think street, forgetting that this play happens in game in the league (looking at you, JR Smith and Iman Shumpert)

Super excited and thank you!! I'm here for the post game aka backing down aka mans game.

Mike, can you answer a question about the shot stick? Does the direction you need to pull the shot stick change based on camera angle/where the player is on the court or is it the same no matter what? Because one of the community day guys said that it changes but I hope not.

As always, fantastic read. Thanks for everything. I can't wait to get my hands on!

Ahh I actually didn't know you could do that in 2k16 I guess I never really had a reason to try. And yea I remember that play was crazy, very rare though lol

Will there be more charging/blocking fouls in the paint this year? In 2K16 the defender would often bump the offensive player instead of trying to take the charge, resulting in blocking fouls.
Also, will pull up shots with the stick go in at a higher rate? Can I pull up with players Curry, or Durant smoothly without being penalized, or will I have to stop and pop?
