The Rory McIlroy PGA Tour download on EA Access is now available. You will have 10 hours of gameplay time before the game 'locks', forcing you to buy the full version.

Be sure to post your impressions of the game, and share your videos and screenshots!

For those of you not getting the game tonight, Chase Becotte is capturing footage for Operation Sports. Let him know in this thread if there's something in particular you want to see! You should start to see videos on the site tomorrow.

They used to have just that and the storm of criticism sent them looking for another solution.

Personally, I think they should get authorization from the PGA TOUR to include A generic likeness of some kind for ANY Pro that ends up in a playoff and simply be done with it. Pietasterp may have hinted at this before and if so, this would be the way to make this happen.

The problem is for likenesses they have to get each player's permission. They'll never be able to give you more than the guy's score, which is better than nothing

Agreed, but I think EA is gun shy when it comes to this issue....slippery slope kind of thing....

Have not played Play Now, only Online and Career. No commentary online for obvious reasons, but can't figure out why Play Now has no commentary unless commentary is strictly scripted for Career....

A playoff with just a score or a ghost ball wouldn't bother me one bit. And if it happened to be one of the real players in the game we should be able to play them. Also during tournament rounds playing with ghost players would be entertaining

Playing right now and so far it feels like I'm playing a $15 stripped down version of what the real game is supposed to be...

This makes no sense. I deleted the game and re-downloaded it, plus deleted the save game file and still no commentary. I'm watching a guy on youtube play with Jordan Spieth with commentary...which means no career mode.

Watching it on twitch, saw 2 eagles on two Par 4's and 1 hole in one. Graphics looks very good though, think it's worth the $49 price it currently is running on Amazon? Seems a bit limited and just a graphics upgrade.

For reference, have TW PGA13 and the Golf Club.

How many courses? How are the fantasy courses available? Are there a lot of fantasy course options?

My honest to god recommendation would be to rent this game (if you're on PS4) or play EA Access before you buy it.

At this state, there would no way I would buy this on Xbox One. I'm hoping the PS4 version is more stable. I'm gonna wait and see footage and reviews for PS4 before deciding if I'll even get it at all.

It just feels so stripped down and lacking any sort of life.

Same here. Doesn't feel like a $60 game at this point

I think it's stripped down right now is because of their new "non-yearly" business model from what I understand, EA will get into more details about it on Tuesday.

I remember seeing a couple of reviews on NBA 2K15 (Nice Magic pic, Bulls fan here Lol) saying things like "DON'T BUY THIS GAME, IT'S AWFUL!" yet I got it and played it four, five months straight without playing a anything else. I got to Legend 1 in MyPARK. I enjoyed the heck out of the game despite some small issues Lol.

I already didn't really trust fan reviews and now I really don't care for them after that.

So I think the same could be said here with Rory PGA. I'll still pick it up. Maybe it'll look and feel different on PS4.

Plus, the new model means there will be more courses and they have to do this if they want the game to survive.

Also, there's going to be a day one update but not sure of the details.

Game has horrible graphics, the grass is atrocious. Very disappointed
