I'd really hate for people to get rid of this game because they feel like it can't work with a controller.

That's me running a 1:48 on Imola. Not overly fast (it was a default tuning setup) but definitely the smoothest-looking lap I've run in this game. I only got "twitchy" two times - once while exiting the turn after the 2nd chicane, and when exiting the final chicane. Both were corrections due to not carrying enough speed through the turns and the car jerked as a result. Other than than those hiccups....well, can you really tell I'm using a controller?

BTW, every one of those runoffs - even the massive one on the final chicane exit - is a part of the racing line.

I was watching you race online the other night and you looked smooth to me. Not sure you will stay in your division very long.

I'm close to giving up again on this game as well. It's just too much work to make it fun. It's a well polished game that just wasn't made for a controller. I shouldn't be so frustrated or having to make adjustments every single race just to keep my car on the road.

Have you tried using the "Assisted Steering" option under gameplay options? I was all over the place also, then I turned that on just to see if it would help and it does seem to help me drive smoother with my controller. I'm also using the default mode 3 settings.

Maybe this can help you also.

I hear you. I rented this from Gamefly with the intention of buying it if I liked it enough. The game is good, but I'm just not built for it. Going to send it back tomorrow. I think I'll stick to arcade racers lol.

You absolutely need to change the default settings to some sort of suggested settings from youtube or some other forum....the default setting I struggled to keep any car on the road.

I still struggle with some of the faster, more powerful ones.....in my career I can't drive a McLaren F1 to save my life after I won most races of the Clio Cup.

I find driving in the cockpit of these cars helps out a ton as well.

One solo lap on Nurburgring F1circuit . Formula B , got out of shape a little a few times but overall I'm not having any issues driving with the controller.

Tyres: British spelling
Tires: American spelling

Both are black circles made of rubber that are mounted on wheels.

Ah gotcha, weird they used both spellings so often in the patch notes. Hell even using both in one sentence.

You guys know if there is any way to check what version of project cars you have? Such as version 2.0, 1.4 etc? Where would I see that? On Xbox one
