I'm close to giving up again on this game as well. It's just too much work to make it fun. It's a well polished game that just wasn't made for a controller. I shouldn't be so frustrated or having to make adjustments every single race just to keep my car on the road.

Have you tried using the "Assisted Steering" option under gameplay options? I was all over the place also, then I turned that on just to see if it would help and it does seem to help me drive smoother with my controller. I'm also using the default mode 3 settings.

Maybe this can help you also.

I hear you. I rented this from Gamefly with the intention of buying it if I liked it enough. The game is good, but I'm just not built for it. Going to send it back tomorrow. I think I'll stick to arcade racers lol.

You absolutely need to change the default settings to some sort of suggested settings from youtube or some other forum....the default setting I struggled to keep any car on the road.

I still struggle with some of the faster, more powerful ones.....in my career I can't drive a McLaren F1 to save my life after I won most races of the Clio Cup.

I find driving in the cockpit of these cars helps out a ton as well.

One solo lap on Nurburgring F1circuit . Formula B , got out of shape a little a few times but overall I'm not having any issues driving with the controller.
