League will be conducted using the GT3 car type. Races will average 20 mins each and we hope to get 2 races in per week. The schedule is TBD.
For now, please do the following...
Go into practice mode and run 5 laps of practice at Laguna Seca using stock setup, heavy clouds weather, and any GT3 car you would like to use. All driving aids are allowed.
Then do the same run using the Ginettas.
Take note of your fastest and slowest time posted. Then simply PM (personal message) me the results. (Don't worry about what time you get just turn valid laps.)
I might be able to do this tonight, or tomorrow night. Work has me. Boggled down right now.
Post patch for xbone got easier for me, going to have to put AI up several notches.
easier because easier to control I hope? I have yet to play post patch. While I love the game for the most part, I felt like every single race I was fighting the controller. I've played plenty of racing games on consoles in my life, some sim games on PC even...I've never felt as helpless with a controller as I do in this game. Tried all different settings people have posted. Some the car simply doesn't turn enough, others I barely touch the stick and it is a hard 90 degree turn into the grass with a spin out.
Guys, just ran a career race in the rain....I was fine with light rain but then it started raining heavier and it was like the track became solid ice. Yeah I know, slow down....but I couldn't even drive when I was going at nearly a dead stop.
Do I need to do something with my tires when I pit and its lightly raining or what? I went from 1st place to dead last by over a minute lol...

That could definitely help. The default for tire selection is "Automatic by Weather" so in dry conditions it's going to give you slicker tires. If the weather changes it's definitely going to affect that kind of tire.
Maybe pick some kind of in-between tire before the race if you want to account for all the possibilities in a race.
