The little things from a post on the project cars.com forum.
Graphically, some oh wow moments and tiny details:
-The tracks. Wow. So much detail.
-Cars get dirty with an off
-I’ve seen corner markers topple and fall from either turbulence and /or vibration
-May be a fluke but pretty sure a car in front off picked up something on his slicks and flung it at my windshield
-Drove by post crash carnage that made me wonder if the driver was alive
-The lighting (Nuff said). I mean the cars have reflective decals that bounce your headlights for pete’s sake – and that’s the least of it.
-Leafs blowing across the track.
- A cone on my hood. I jabbed my brakes and it flew foward
-Debris , and track damage
-Barely saw something waving way in the distance through some trees to my right (caught my eye
enough to make me wonder what it was), many turns later I came up on a group of fans waving flags.
-Seeing the inside rear lift under heavy braking (shout out to the physics engine here)
I can't keep the F1 out of the wall. Formula rookie I can handle.
About 99% of the time I have trouble like that, is cause I'm just going too fast. Trying to make up too much ground too fast. There's about 3 places on that track where 99% of the crashes occur for me. As long as I keep cool in those corners, I can usually do pretty well there.
In particular, Mirabeau, Anthony Noges, and Sainte Devote. There are my nemesis.

In an F1 car, The hairpin turn in-between Mirabeau and Portier seems almost impossible to navigate, to the point where I'm wondering if it's a control setup issue. I can literally do nothing but follow the best line through that turn and pray I can go far enough left to miss the wall on exit. If there are other cars around me, I'm practically guaranteed to bounce off one of them because I cannot take an inside or outside line through that turn - I simply cannot cut the wheel (analog stick) far enough.

Any suggestions?
That corner stumps me as well. When you watch videos on fast laps on Youtube, F1 drivers can get around that corner easily.
One thing I may try is tinkering with the steering ratio vehicle settings. Maybe setting it to a fast more responsive setup will aid in that corner? My only worry is that it would make the Formula A cars too twitchy.
Guys, would love to get into some online racing, been getting the hang of the game offline and feel ready for online. Don't want to venture into the random rooms of bumper cars.
