"Good... now get back out there and hit the pace car!"
Try these settings for the controller, Mo. Cheers!

I've had a lot of success with Input Mode 2, as the steering speed of Mode 3 is too slow when changing directions quickly (S-bends, chicanes, etc.).
Steering Deadzone - 0
Steering Sensitivity - 0
Throttle Deadzone - 0
Throttle Sensitivity - 25
Brake Deadzone - 0
Brake Sensitivity - 25
Clutch Deadzone - 0
Clutch Sensitivity - 25
Speed Sensitivity - 75 (I adjust only this value as needed depending on car type)
Controller Filtering Sensitivity - 50
Force Feedback - 100
RPM/Gear Display Yes
Controller Input Mode - 2
Advanced - On
Apply Soft Steering - On
Apply Visual Filtering - Off
Apply Opposite Lock Help - Off
I posted a link in controller settings forum for project cars for you guys using controller on xbox one that I use. Only made one slight steering sensitivity adjustment to it. Hanging with lap times of AI now.
There is nothing more frustrating than taking a turn slightly too fast, sliding into the grass, and falling from first to sixth in less than a second. But weirdly enough, it makes me like the game more.
We tested today and found the Ginettas G40 Junior a ton a fun to drive... The AI is also pretty good in these. They should be raced on smaller tracks like HockenheimRing Short and Brands Hatch Indy.
Decided to start my career in the Formula Rookie Challenge stage. I am blasting the competition. I've won all 4 races so far with the last winning by a 15-second margin. I've played with the difficulty and currently have it set at 70. Will probably bump it up and see what happens. Also currently using default settings with the DS4. I'm not saying I'm a savant with this game but the lower level Formula series are a breeze so far.
Could also be those cars are just way easy to control and maneuver.

Going to boost the AI tonight. I've been using the "mid-high" fender camera view.
Yeah any camera view outside of any of the cockpit angles make any racing game easier. I love that there is a helmet cam in this game. Once Morpheus comes out it will be even better. Can't wait.
I like using the in seat/helmet view the best, yeah it's probably a bit harder but I think it's integral to experiencing the cars..

Offline racing yes. I always race with the helmet camera. Online its a different story. With all these morons out there who have no clue how to properly race you need to have the full car camera on.

Agree 110%. Love the helmet cam for racing vs. the CPU, but can't even consider using it when online.
When I race online I always host a room. That way I can force people into the cockpit view. Plus, I force them to drive with all the aids and assists off. Muhahahaha.
How you guys get online to work, everytime I try, just keeps searching??
I guess it depends on the parameters you set up. Most people have all the assists on so you won't be thrown into their rooms. I always have that problem playing FIFA. No one uses manual controls so I just play the CPU.
