This is in regards to Hot and Cold Zones ..... Being unable to see them , especially in Quick counts.

I think a quick fix would be adding it to the pitch preview ( I think it's pitch preview), anyway ... holding r2 would give you the hot and cold zones , as well as what we already see... what pitch was thrown and where, and if we were early, late, or good with our swing. I use quick counts, and I wish you can see the hot/cold zones without permanently leaving them on.

Just stating all of that in case it is important.

I'm sad to report that post-patch all of the following are still true:

1. The home teams pitching staff ("Big Arms") is always the topic of discussion during pregame.

2. Every game is treated like Opening Day.

3. The PA Announcer introduces the home 9 as "Your 2016..." even though it is 2015.

4. The first home run of any game is always treated as though it is that player's first career home run.

All of this really hurts immersion but it isn't the end of the world. Just reporting.

Aside from those every-game annoyances, I'm happy with the patch.
I have a VERY interesting update to these issues. I am currently in the 4th inning of my first game after the draft and it looks like these are resolved. At least some of them and, at least, in this game.

1. The pregame was different. The announcers talked about the previous games in the series (it's the finale of a 4-game series with Baltimore).

2. It was NOT treated like Opening Day.

3. Not sure on this one, I didn't catch it.

4. Chris Davis homered. They did not say it was his first career homer and Matt V. did say it was his 20th of the season (haven't heard him say how many a player has yet on 15).

In addition, I've seen different stats showing up for batters as they come to the plate (ie stats for last X number of games) and there was an overlay/pop up that told me that Carlos Correa hit his 9th double after he did so. I haven't seen this stuff on 15.

Hopefully all of this sticks beyond this game and maybe we all have hope (if it's not patched) to have these annoyances go away after the draft.

So do we know if the problems with trade frequency and player progression have been acknowledged and are being looked at?

I'm pretty sure it doesn't have an effect. I find it strange it doesn't. I wonder if it's a bug or by design? If it's by design then I find that very odd!

I've had wind affect the ball in my games. I've seen it knock down balls that I thought for sure were out of the park and had it blow foul balls into the stands when I thought I would catch them.

Interesting.... I will look out for that. I haven't noticed it personally. I've just been going off what other people have said.

Just noticing they also didn't correct the foul ball detection issues at Wrigley. I've seen multiple balls go into the stands by 1B, but the ball curves back into the fielder's glove. Very unnatural, and a poor "fix" for the actual issue

Yeah i just played the Dodgers in Busch with 9mph cross wind (straight left to right) and had a few foul balls stay in play down 3rd base line due to the wind.

Is the weather random again for franchise without choosing weather type?

Has the weather always not had a random feature in this series? I just randomise it anyway. Would be nice for the weather to reflect real life weather for the place and time of year.

This is my first year with MLB and I believe it is the best sports game I have ever played. One question I have.... Do the nights get lighter as you get further into the summer months? Would be cool if they did!

You still cannot change helmet type with created players ported in from '14. So you still can't use no flap helmet in classic rosters unless player has basic helmet.

Ive seen the wind have 0 affect what so ever at Wrigley! just played a game with wind blowing out to right at 19mph and wind did nothing with the ball. Every high fly ball was a can of corn. I remember in past game if you had same wind and it was hit to center the ball would carry away from fielder or you would have to change fielders and take control of RF just to try to make play or the ball would carry over RF head or if hit down the line it would blow foul! ive seen none of this this year! true bummer! one of the fun reasons to play at Wrigley!

All I can do is post my opinion/what I see. Sorry you're not having same experience.

I'm seeing some terrible lineup logic in RTTS.

I'm on the tigers, and they've batted Victor Martinez leadoff, Miguel Cabrera leadoff, and now myself leadoff, when i'm a 40 homerun type guy. I've seen some other terrible lineup logic, but can't recall.

Also Miguel Cabrera is 3rd in the league in stolen bases, and Fransico Cervelli is second in the league in stolen bases.

I don't even know what's going on anymore.

If you already have a franchise on the go, then download the patch will the changes take effect in your current franchise before you download a patch or would you have to start a new franchise for the changes to take effect? thanks for your answers

You do not need to start over.

TBH, I can't remember ever having to start over on a sports game after a patch.

thanks, i was just curious because im about 60 games into my franchise and i ran into a glitch a couple times where i hit a two run home run and it only counts as one run with the runner on base staying at first after the home run, so frusrating! so im hoping they fix that in the next patch. i really dont wanna start a new franchise since i put about 60 hours into this one already
