Yes there is, go to the Manage roster screen and you'll see the teams strategy in the upper right. you can cycle through all the teams

We could edit the numbers to our liking, & basically anyone with a 99 would never get traded.

i like that idea and think that in some wierd way that kinda aleady exists inside the game.. because some players are literally untradeable under any circumstances. but still great idea and well thought out... as long as it was an un editable item to the user..

Just to touch on this and the radio show in the future too, here is another idea. Put in something that would represent breaking news before the stream (for those that aren't going to listen to it every day and might skip). Maybe at the start of the show, play different music, or start with something saying "a huge day around baseball" or "important update" that would signify something like a milestone or big trade. That way, it would signal an important show vs just being updated with the scores kinda thing.

Another thought too, to go along with the popup that shows a big trade, maybe flag an important, separate audio file that would just say the trade, in the same tone as the radio show, just separate.

Just a thought. Love this idea of the show, and love that it starts with your relevant division first. Awesome!

Thinking about the awesome night lighting.

Has the moon ever been in MLBTS?/ will it be in 15?

Would only be cool if it worked in phases that matched real life. Probably too much work to program in.

One year Madden had a full moon for every night game. Was awful.

MLB2k had the moon, wasn't as bad.

i hope that made sense... sorry if it didn't
I'm not 100% sure, but I'd suspect you have to use them in MLB15.

The 2014 Atlanta Braves say hi... seriously, what you're basically asking for is programmed artificial emotions. It is possible, but not in the video game realm. #skynet

Too bad the trade wasn't back to the Blue Jays for Saunders. Wasn't really a fan of that trade as a fellow Mariners fan...

That's how I look at all this. I agree there are some crazy trades, almost more times than not. But the CPU doesn't know its trading away Matt Holliday or Mike Trout, it's just a numbers thing. If you look at it from just a ratings stand, a 76 rated player for a 76 rated player looks fine. But when you tie a name to it, such as Young being traded for CC, it looks crazy..That's just how I belive things work. And that's why I choose 30 team control

And just a couple of my own thoughts from the stream:

1. Game looks awesome. I love the lighting, stadiums, new animations, and sponsored gear. All of the graphics add a lot.

2. Love not only the trade finder, but the fact that you can ask for specifics, like prospects or MLB Ready. And, I love that you can do it both ways with selecting your player to get offers or selecting from other teams to see what it would take. Awesome features.

3. Love the off-season contracts and being able to lock down arbitration years when trying to extend. That is super sweet.

4. Radio show is awesome. I like that it starts with the relevant stuff to your division first.

5. I like that they rebuilt Franchise mode starting a couple of years ago and starting bringing in new stuff to build it up. It started with scouting and player development and now we are seeing real sponsors. Eventually, I would love to see things like stadium upgrades, pricing, and billboard stuff added back in (more things to do while listening to the radio show), but it's nice to see things coming back, and coming back and actually mattering relative to your franchise and income. I want to see that continue with being able to upgrade items with the money I make if my team is successful. And, have to cut back if we go through a rough stretch.

I watched the stream again and that state flag looks real nice. Will every team have their state flag or will just certain teams have one?

Maybe once the contracts are edited to their real numbers, some players will be very hard to trade.... Unfortunately I am going to have to deal with A-Rod & that horrible contract lol

I think every team does.

Yes, they will all have the proper flags, whether state, city, division, etc.

Really digging the radio show, especially because it really is just a background feature so I can do other stuff meanwhile. I swear, I always watched the SportsCenter show on ESPN NFL 2K5, no matter how redundant it may have ever seemed. Just awesome to have that kind of presentation. It might get a little iffy hearing some of the nicknames too much of cities and team names, but a first year effort is a great one indeed! Digging how he acknowledges some of the really small things.

Also, I don't get why [was it Kirby?] said it was a little overcast at 37:18. I thought that was what the dusk sky looked like. If they have a different one that I haven't seen, I'd love to check it out! But if I remember correctly, they chose the clear skies option before starting that Yankees game.

This game impressively only took strides in the right direction this year, and sports games don't always do that. There are some options here I don't/won't use that I'm seeing used a lot, but that's all what is great about this game. I'm also appreciative of an 11:00 and 4:00 start time option. I'm guessing Sunday Night Baseball games on the west coast will utilize the 4:00 option and they'll use 11:00 on Patriots' Day for the Red Sox.

Uh, they totally exist, man. In video games. It's fairly basic relationship stuff. Good things happen, loyalty points go up. You might use systems that are already in place to do it, too, including fluid progression of loyalty over time using the player skill progression system. You probably just have to figure in the computational load, and hope that system isn't completely, irreversibly hardcoded to measure only certain aspects.

Outstanding stream. Loved almost everything I heard/saw. The radio show is a great touch. I don't know if this is in this year, but I really hope that there is some "Hot Stove" discussion about possible trades and an offseason show to talk about player movement, contract offers, offseason trades, etc.

The visuals looks great, the new contracts are fantastic. The gameplay could still use some fine-tuning, but I've enjoyed it every iteration before and I will again this year.

People argue about stirrups being too high and hats being at the wrong angle, but this is a direct gameplay issue that is as unrealistic as it gets.

It seems like if you lowered friction in the outfield and increased hit slice (or even just one of these), you could solve this issue with no damage done to home run frequency.

I loved almost everything in the stream, especially the Trade Finder. One thing that did worry me was listening to the game results on the radio show, there still seems to be too many complete games by starting pitchers in simmed games.

All these look like great additions just hoping all of the same features they did in franchise will all be included and work the same in "Online Franchise".

You'd just have to tweak the right fielder's logic then.

In real life, right fielders almost NEVER throw to first unless a runner gets caught going to second on a fly out or line out. So really the right fielder should never be throwing to first on a single.
