Thing I noticed the most: How fluid and quick the menu surfing is. I don't remember how last year was, but that's probably my main gripe with sports games. Long, slow glitches and loading during menu screens. Glad 15 looks smooth as something really smooth.

Anyone know if its only the recordings that dont work and you can still take screenshots in those situations?
The devs just don't want you leaking videos of gameplay on an unfinished product, so they take away this feature. This alert won't be there in a finished game and that's why you don't have any games that block screens. It happens when I play the Planetside 2 closed Beta. Don't worry about it, it won't be there in the finished 15.

how often (in real baseball) do you see a ground ball down the line go for a single? It's a double or more like 99% of the time. So why am I still seeing grounders down the line being singles?? This has been an issue for . . . ever.
Damnit...my biggest pet peeve...

The menus look improved this year, but to me The Show has always been top notch in loading menu screens quickly. NBA 2k had the best menus on PS3, but it looks like The Show is better now. I love starting up the game and being able to edit a roster, start a franchise, and play a game within a few minutes. EAs menus have been awful for so long and it's beyond frustrating.

Those will be there in the finished game.

The AI doesn't know these players by name, it's only code it's going off of. It's trading player A for Player B.

That is an awesome idea. I'd add milestones or something like major story lines. I can't see myself listening to it for the score recaps but would listen in for "big" stories.

The game looks great. The guys playing it make me look good at this game. Which is saying something. Russell stick to the P.R

The flow of the game just moves so much better and the lighting is really well done and the real equipment look really nice. I also like the variety of flags this year and the jumbo trons look really nice.

It does talk about career milestones already (e.g. Miguel Cabrera picked up his 3,000th career hit), and even players being called up, etc.

I just hope we can match the white panel helmet with all home uniforms, orange, black and white home Jerseys. Last year you could only match the white panel with the white Jersey, the orange and black home Jersey you had to use away helmet no matter what. In real life they use the white panel helmet with any home Jersey/uniform.

Yeah. Another problem would be if they paired each helmet with a hat. Because when they wear Black jerseys, they wear the white panel helmet but the black hats.

I do hope they can get it all to work right eventually though

Russell, you guys should do a video that shows off all the beautiful night time lighting of all the stadiums.

It could be a companion piece to "Summer Wind" maybe set it to a night centric song like "That's Amore" or Phil Collins' "In the air tonight", etc.

Finally getting around to watching the whole video…

- Trade finder will make trading a lot more fun and something that is easier to do.

- The salary guide for offseason signing is awesome! Definitely helps you keep tabs on how contracts work and who is where in their career.

- GM contracts need to be a little less severe when you don't win the World Series but put up good results throughout your tenure.

- Also for awesome for letting us see another live gameplay. Orioles stadium looks awesome.

- I also like the little red directional arrow which shows which baserunner you will select when pushing the joy stick to a direction.

Anyone know if I do 30 team control if I still have to manually sim games for the cpu controlled teams?

It does but within the whole radio show. I was thinking sort of an express version of only major story lines. Just don't have the time to listen to the whole show very often.

There are a few culprits - Batted balls down the line have little to no slice, the playing surface has excessive friction, and balls are not hit as hard as in real life.

I remember a few years ago there was a presentation package centered around batted ball velocity and Karros would wet his pants over a 100 MPH line drive... when guys are routinely hitting 110+ MPH HRs in real life. If a guy can hit a homerun that goes 110 MPH, then surely he can hit a line drive 120 MPH. One solution should be upping the power slider, but then you get too many homeruns.

Ok gotcha. You're looking for something like a "milestones" segment.

Something I wanted to bring attention to that isn't talked about much.

Last year when if you followed nomo's CPU vs CPU testing it was found that it was not possible to get MLB accurate MLB steal % success numbers with pitch speed on 10. 10 seems to represent the most accurate mound to home plate speed but unfortunately that throws the steal game out of whack and could not be resolved by any slider adjustments.

I know there was work done on stealing this year and base runner speed, I am just hoping this issue won't creep up again this year. We really shouldn't have to choose between steals being accurate or pitch speed being accurate. It was a bit strange because MLB 13 didn't have the issue.

Perhaps an extra slider or two is needed so we can rebalance the steal game ourselves, like catcher throw speed.

Dear SDS Dev team:

Thank you for doing everything in your power to make the trade finder everything i remember it being from ASB 05 and making it better in ways i could have never imagined.

you have now taken the frustration out of trying to do trades from a person that has no patience for it. I can now go into the trade screen confidently and assured that i can do what i want and hopefully get near what i was looking for by maybe giving up something in return.

This was the one feature i was hoping you would pull out all the stops in and you did it and much much more.

Thank you from my very baseball loving soul...

your customer since 08 and forever...

mlblover15

P.S. Would love to spend up to $20 per shirt per color... how soon until we can buy them...

Does anyone know if the CPU teams in franchise mode have GM goals? Do they also have sponsorships that help the team's finances?
