Often they have talked about the stage a team is at, like playoff push or rebuilding… Is that something that is actually shown as a status somewhere for each team or is it more or less just to be interpreted based off the standings and baseball knowledge based on the team make up?

How significant is the impact on your pitcher's energy when you consistently go to the very end of the meter each pitch?

Does the further you go in the meter dictate only speed of the pitch or amount of break for a pitch with movement?

i do have one question Slab,

with the 12K stubs you get with 15 10-year anni addition if i see that the stubs to funds ratio has changed as long as i have not imported my 14 franchise into 15 will i still be able to use the 12 K i got in stubs for 14 or do they have to be used in 15?

i hope that made sense... sorry if it didn't

I see teams are still trading star players for no good reason. Cardinals trade Matt Holiday to the Mariners for another left fielder, not in a million years...

Good thing we have ways around that right?

I guess. Just kinda weird we still don't have a system where trades will not immediately start looking insane. Like there's nothing in place to check for consistency on teams, see why players have been around, and calculate extra odds that would modify if certain players should be traded. Like an additional comfort zone based on past contributions and current needs and fan love. Like a City Loyalty rating. Maybe there is something like that, I dunno, but *shrug* It's probably too complicated and would slow down sims.

i understand your point but also understand that this is a baseball video game... key words in that sentence.. video game.. you can't expect human logic to be programmed into the game.. i like that you never know who will be traded for whom or signed by whon for how much...

if all this non realistic trading bothers you just turn on 30-team control and follow the real life season move for move and be consumed by your desire to have everything having to mirror real life..

again no offense meant.. just my .02

I'm not necessarily talking about total human logic. But reasonable things. You know how players get player of the game awards, right? The players that get those all the time will be loved by the city they play for. And each time a player of the game is handed out, that could be one thing that affects City Loyalty, and the biggest boosts would be things like big defensive plays and clutch hits/walkoffs. Holliday's been really clutch for the Cards in real life, and if that reflects in the game statistics, that'd factor in, and he hits long balls that go on rocket flights to the moon. The dude's an anchor.

The big Q is probably just what kind of impact a system like that would have on sim time.

is there anywhere else to watch it other than twitch, cause the stream stops like every 30 sec

Easiest way to help from getting some guys traded would be some sort of "team loyalty" rating to each player. For example, Derek Jeter would've had a 99 compared to a let's say Stephen Drew, who would have a 50(default). We could edit the numbers to our liking, & basically anyone with a 99 would never get traded.

Yeah, I didn't think about it that way earlier but makes more sense now. Thanks for the reply!

It's pretty easy to say that some trades and signings that occur in the game would never happen in real life. But, after this past real life offseason, I may just go without 30 team control and let the CPU do its thing. The only issue could be if guys like Mike Trout or Clayton Kershaw get traded right away, or if a lot of players get traded multiple times in a 2 month span. If those things don't happen, I think going without 30 team control could be fine.

I'm right with you, after the trades this year I am never complaining about trades in the show lol as long as it's nothing toooooo ridiculous it'll be fine. I understand if some people want to mirror real life moves in their franchise, to each their own.
