NBA 2K15 News Post

Having trouble earning particular badges in NBA 2K15? NBA 2K Producer Zach Timmerman has just sent us the requirements for each one of them.

Key Notes
  • Simulating games will not count towards earning badges. You must play the games to meet the requirements.
  • Only one badge can be earned in MyPark / Jordan Rec Center (Swagger).
  • Badges can be earned by playing on any difficulty.
  • Unless specifically noted, any position can earn any badge.
  • Unlike what many believe, having the Cool and Collected or Volume Shooter badges will not prevent you from getting “hot” (which is required to earn Unfazed and Microwave).
  • Getting ejected or fouling out of a game will not impact your ability to earn badges.
  • For the ankle breaker dribble move badges, like Killer Crossover, you’ll generally have better luck earning them if you try the moves when you’re within 25 feet of the basket.
  • When earning a badge requires you to meet the requirements “in a single season”, it means just that. You cannot carry over stats or games played to the next season to earn the badge.

All the badges and their requirements should be listed in a dedicated MC tab along with a check list for example

"Strength 70"

"45/100 good screens set"

So you know where you're up to. Make it happen for 16.

Trying to get Dimer on my Center even though I only have three bars on playmaking.

****s broken...

I counted every single screen (7'3" center, maxed strength) I hit 100 "Set screen for scores" like everyone says... nothing. Then someone says they only count like 2 a game... Why not put this in the guide?

Tried Fadeaway badge that it states "works with post fadeaways" you need to "take" 30 of them... I took 175, no badge.

I got it on my center with 0 playmaker... 200 assists in 25 games, must play out the 25 game span before it gives you the badge. I got exactly 200 and it worked (fouled out of 17 games in a row after I hit 200 in 8 games)

I wish their was an open shot badge

Got both of those with my 7'3" 250LB Center. Strange.

Don't have Deadeye on any of my Careers. Got the ball stolen my first 3 attempts and I thought screw it, I don't play in the Park anyway.

I thought this as well but didn't get the badge. But to actually get the badge you have to do standing fadaway shots only to get it. When people say it works with post fadeaways, they mean that the badge activates when you do a post fade.

Yea, it's stupid how post fadeaways don't count into getting the badge but gets activated after you earn the badge.

How did you do it exactly? I got 100 set screens for score in a 13 game span, and got nothing for it.

Did you get "Set screen for score" or "good on/off-ball screen" ?
How many games did it take you?
How many per game did you get?

Figured, I wanted to use post fadeaway first because it's an actual shot I like to take. Thanks for the heads up though.

Never counted them. First thing I'd do is set a screen for Rose at the middle of the three point line and wherever else I could.

I think the layup badge "attempt" means either attempt and make the layup of choice 50 times or attempt the layup badge and or get fouled while doing so, either outcome I believe counts towards the 50 "attempts". Don't think it's just do 50 hop-steps, euros or spins.

# 115 ekferio @ 01/18/15 09:05 PM
You can't get Deadeye in Pro difficulty?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say Deadeye is the same way. Because some of the shots I've seen Deadeye activated on, it's can not be possible these counted towards those "100" contested shots.

For all you trying to get brick wall, you need that stumble animation when you set a hard screen. To get that animation like they posted you need a certain strength requirement and may need to set a screen on the same person more than once.

I'm operating under the assumption that no one knows a damn thing about these Badges including 2k. The Fierce competitor requirements do not work. And I've heard everyone say playoffs count towards a current season. Well, I finished 73 rebounds short of the required 400 for Tenacious Rebounder. I completed the required 73 rebounds and have a total of 401 rebounds. No badge. But they did give me the bank shot badge that I had no idea I was going for...

# 120 Rockie_Fresh88 @ 01/19/15 09:17 AM
I just got like 3 badges in the playoffs
