Madden NFL 15 News Post


Another update has arrived for Madden NFL 15. It is available now for PlayStation 4 users, weighing in at 398 MB. It should be available later tonight for Xbox One users.

UPDATE: It is available now for Xbox One.

Just had a thought. People saying the game plays faster. Maybe that was the point.

I remember many people saying that when you put the game on fast/very fast the sacks were toned down due to the O-line getting to the block quicker.

Maybe they increased this game speed a touch to help with that?

Sooooooo...really stoked they fixed the uniforms :-/. however I would like to know if they fixed the IR bug issue. The one where your guy is hurt comes of the injury report and never goes back into the depth chart. Let me know if you guys have seen this fixed.

I am going to start a new CFM on default All-Madden and see how it goes. I feel like if you make defensive adjustments, you can stop the CPU quite effectively. Penalties we'll just have to live without until EA decides they are important, which they are. Penalties decide the outcome of a lot of games, pass interference being a big one. I hope they decide to update penalties with illegal contact/defensive holding, etc. It's 2014 and we still don't have defensive holding in a football game.

Is there a way to delete the game update? I can delete tuner files, but what about patches?

i noticed this about madden before this patch came out i had it set up how i wanted went into a play now game and some how the settings switch.... which i found odd... glad somebody else is noticing this now.


not sure if anybody else is seeing this but i play a play now game yesterday and it seem to me like the rb was stumbling over his own 2 feet trying to run the ball.... hed get the handoff and not sure if a bad adimation but stumble forward never saw that happen till this patch he was barely avging 2 yards a run.


and like few others i have noticed the cmp offense being unstoppable again like when 15 was first out u couldnt stop the cmp offense and now its like that again... guess this patch messed up sliders... seems always find a good set then a patch ruins it and u have to start all over again.

Defensive holding? We don't even have offensive holding.

Madden had defensive holding on the PS1 circa 1998. Its ridiculous that features that used to be in the game are now broken are just vanished altogether.

Are you on the PS4 or Xboxone as I am thinking maybe the patch plays out different on the different systems..wich is why we are seeing a disparity in how people are viewing the patch..Maybe we should state what system we are playing on when giving impressions about the patch..Just a thoughtand shot in the dark..

Do you guys have the fumble slider really low? That also appears to be the overall RB ability slider. I tested about 4 games with my sliders last night, and the AI seemed to be running just fine. In fact almost too well. I also had to lower my run block the run blocking seemed to open up larger holes and hold the blocks longer. I'm on PS4.

i have it set @ 60 for fumbles.... but like i said i never saw this animation before until i installed the patch never really had a problem running the ball but now with that stumble animation im lucky if i can make it past line of scrimmage before getting tackled.


funny thing is i dont see this animation when the cmp rb runs the ball or maybe im missing it gonna try another game and see if it does happen to the cmp rb or not.


im on PS4 BTW.

Interesting. I didn't see it but I was playing as the Chiefs. What was the RB rated that was doing it?

terrance west he's rated a 76 overall and im gonna try the other rb issac crowell see if same thing happen.... they both have pretty good stats but like i said never saw this before and others have seen this as well so its just not me.

I don't think it's different. The only difference is who is playing the game. Different people have different opinions.

I might also suggest listing which team and player specifically that you're using, and seeing the stumbling and poor running animations with. Does anyone remember the Madden glitch from years past where if a RB was below a certain height (5"10"??) that he couldn't run some plays because his knee would literally hit the ground and he'd be ruled down as soon as he was handed the ball.

SMH. You never know...

I guess that could be it but there have been times when patches played out differently on different systems. So far I see alot of PS4 installed patches with these issues but its too early to tell unless everyone chimes in and states what system they are on..But I hear you man I was just seeing if it could be something else as some people must be playing completely differnt games according to these impressions.

Umm far from Madden 13. You say every patch or tuner ruins the game and your done with EA. SMDH

The game plays better after the patch in my opinion. First Madden I've been able to play since 10.

I guess it's possible. I'm on Xbox1 and I'm not having the issues.

No offense SECElit3, but you do tend to overreact to patches/tuners. I'm not seeing anything negative myself.
