These lobs can be hot mess. I just threw a lob to Melo were the man sprinted from the 3 point line to catch it.

Not only is Green dribbling on the line, the action is going to the basket and the Ref is headed in the other direction?? Players step on the line far too often and its never called.

It's this type of stuff that is killing the realism factor for me. I love the look of the players and the game itself over the comp but some of the basic stuff is simply just whacked!!

They should have the players' position next to their name as well.

Definitely not enough time to cycle through everyone.

I agree with this 100%. If I choose to play with a team I don't know very well i always have to pause and go look at the roster.

It would be so easy if there was just a C or PF or whatever next to their name. Heck even a number 1-5 would help.

This is in ultimate team and I have played enough ea ultimate team modes to know I should expect this, but still...

I am hibbert, then when nowitzki does nothing I take control of him to make the block. I am still him when I get blown back by the cpu PG.

The problems of course are Dirk standing flat footed, while Kyrie reacts at the right time from the backside, nobody on my team going after the loose ball, then the cpu cleanly leans down, picks it up, rams dirk out of the way and calmly lays it up.

Gah. The 76'ers are god awful.

0-12 from 3. 0 from 12. Zero. Yes, zero.

The pistons fouled me 15 times. Why? I have no idea. The FT line was the only thing that kept me in this game.

What is starting to really piss me off is the behavior of the forwards and centers of the human side. They do nothing, absolutely nothing. I started watching the cpu forwards and center. They work in unison to prevent penetration while mine spread apart to allow it (not just this game, all games).
The cpu will also auto box out with 2, even 3 players while I can only pick one player to control and hold LT to box out, they also dive under my players and always establish better positiong for rebounds on both ends of the floor.

Its bad programming to make the user do everything when they can only control one of five players.

Anyway here are the awful stats to an awful game. Not NBA live, the pistons 76ers, that is the awful game.

I play with the 76ers a lot. They are young and athletic, have a defensive paint presence, can't shoot the three very well as a team, they miss defensive assignments, and are often out of position on offense a lot if you've watched them on TV. Frustrating in game but realistic. My dynasty has them at 2-8 right now and have only beaten Detroit and Milwaukee although recently I had a heartbreaking triple OT loss against the Heat at home.( 96-95)

If you practice with them (76ers)then try a better team and play, its night and day how much easier the game is. Don't let the bad team undermine your fun.

Thanks.

That is something I dig about this game. There are some teams that are really bad.

Most EA games you can do well even with a team that isnt good.

That doesnt work very well in NBA live 15. Good stuff.

Here is another LUT video.

This one simply is, the cpu wants that offensive rebound. Does he fight for it? Not really.

Is he gifted it? Oh yes, for sure.

Well, Bradley Beal just administered a quality torching on me. Lucky to pull out the win in OT. Superstar difficulty, man..when the CPU wants to make that 3 point shot, they WILL make it. I had pretty good user close-outs on him.

On the plus side, John Wall had a 13pt, 6 assist game(5 min qtrs.) Paul Pierce had double digits, and I had my best flow on offense since playing the game. I got Melo rolling in a wide variety of ways: Posting up 3's, facing up 4's, cutting, transition. I got Stat going as well, and saw some quality off ball movement from my guards, creating space for themselves for kick out J's.

What I really liked is when there was an obvious post defense mismatches..say Melo being guarded by Martell Webster..they would force me to give up the ball, and also double hard, late in the game when Melo got hot..they also rotated very well.

When the game is flowing like this, it makes you say "YES!" They need to be more diligent with cleaning up the sloppy things that take place which make you go "HUH???" and dilutes the great things you just witnessed 2 possessions ago.

They do that, and then start sprinkling in some individuality to the players, and they are going to have a product that is going to give the other game a run. I just wonder about their dang focus and QC at times.

Small things...I had a rebound bounce off at an angle and end up almost out at the corner three point line. The physics are great.

I also have had some brilliant pick and pops by the CPU...they are things of beauty when they work.

I always thought LIVE 10 had the best pick and roll / pick and pop game I have seen in a basetball game...but LIVE 15 has gone past it.

it is the best representation of the pick and roll / pop in a game...

(And that includes all the 2K games)

Instead for him to just catch it cleanly... One could suggest that my players didnt even need to be there for that animation to play out.

I am going to pay very close attention to my offensive end of the floor and see if I see any instances of the cpu D players arms warping through the ball to give it to me.

That doesn't just happen in LUT, it happens in the regular game mode too......Been saying that for a week. But nope, people claim to not see things. When the CPU wants to do something, they do it, regardless. At least your players actually jumped, I had instances like that where they don't even jump and the CPU guy jumps right over there back to snag the rebound.

I can't get the pick and pop game game going at all...either the defenders stay glued to the popper or guys like Al Jeff pop too far out....tips?

I stopped getting that start up error when booting up the game... I think it's had to do with FB integration...because it keeps asking me to let Live post on my wall...

Ok, the pistons test seems like they played like they should and didn't take or make a lot of 3's.

Let's flip it the other way.

Rockets are going nuts from 3 point land. Time to test that out.

3PM-14.2 3PA-32.2 3pt %-.441

The thing is the Pistons should take a lot of 3's. That's their system even if they aren't any good at it going 1-17 from downtown in their last game. Singler is OK shooting it but KCP needs to get going or this will be a really long year for Detroit fans.

My bad< I typed it wrong.

Should just read didn't make a lot of 3's. Ignore the take part.

I've enjoyed the game somewhat but I think I've grown tired over things I thought would be fixed from 14. Late game AI SHOULD NOT be having the same issues and I'm tired of pre determined layups going in even if you have two guys going to block it. I'm probably going to shelve this until some patches come out and pick up 2k. I just like the ability to play all star games, create ridiculous players, etc. Maybe in a month or so things will be looking up!

What kills me even more is when you do play really nice D and the CPU makes the shot with 1 on the shot clock. Even with 2 guys draped on him, because you call the double team, because you know with that little time left he can't do anything but put it up.

The times when I know what the CPU is going to do and do the things to elevate my percentages of preventing them from executing yet they pull off a miracle happen way too much.

I am just not getting rewarded for playing good D.

This morning I did play and win my LUT game and a tip off game by only being the C or PF every defensive series. I just boxed out and denied the pass to my side of the post and then boxed out and went after any shot attempts that missed. I was within 1 of matching the CPU rebound for rebound. They beat me by 1 on the offensive rebound end and we tied on the defensive end.

Twice I dared to be the PG or SG and both times the CPU drove in and got a little 2 foot jumper/lay up basket.

Here is one of those the CPU can do this and I can't situations.

If I am defending as the PG the CPU PG will dribble left or right and toss a little hand off pass to the SG or SF, the CPU PG then does an illegal moving screen while the SG or SF rolls around them and me and goes horizontally across the court until he gets past the elbow at which point he cuts 90 degrees and drives right to the hoop.

My SG or SF under CPU control does this unconcerned half jog behind them and my interior D moves out of the way so the CPU can dunk.

Then I go inbound the ball.
