It's not going to play perfect to the sport. Even as good as NBA2K and The Show even have crazy out of the normal plays. I know we all want sim football to play out like actual real life NFL but that's never ever ever going to happen. I can play a season with my Jets and throw 65 Td passes with Geno, am I only going to throw 25 to keep it somewhat sim or am I going to try my best to score as much as I can because I can... If I can rush for over 2200 yards with Chris Johnson I'm going to do it... Is that going to be realistic?? No. But am I going to turn a couple 80 yard runs into 5 yard runs to make it more sim??? No. Because it's a video game!!! It's supposed to be fun. Find the fun in the game fellas... If you paid $60 for the game make the best of it... Wait for some updates and just find the good in the games. I been playing Madden since it was John Madden Football without a year lol this is by far the most amazing football game to date on a system. I'm enjoying it. It's amazing. I sit there and can't believe how far sports video games have come... But I know it's a video game and it will always be a video game.... Bugs and glitches and all... I know it will never play out perfect. I'll find sliders and make the best of it.

i totally agree...i wasnt feeling this game at first but i think it was based on skill....i sucked. so as im getting better im having more fun with it. and that's what ive noticed with alot of people's comments. they arent good so it leads to frustration.

Man I'm loving this game. It feels so great to be able to actually step up into the pocket and pump fake a safety before throwing it over the top for a big TD.

Also feels amazing when you set up your blocks in the run game.

A couple issues I'm having though:

1. Sometimes I'll hold L2 to allow me to set up my blocks and it'll end up doing a stutter step when I don't want it to (tapping L2 does a stutter step, so I guess sometimes it gets confused if you don't hold down L2 for a long time?)

2. The challenge system still sucks IMO. I've already had 3 or 4 plays in just a couple games where the receiver catches the ball, and his first step hits about 3 yards out of bounds and it's ruled a catch. Sometimes it'll let you challenge, but it'll be ruled a complete pass even though it's not even remotely close. Sometimes it won't even give you the option to challenge. It's extremely frustrating that it appears the game doesn't actually know when a receiver successfully gets their feet in bounds or not.

Also, quick question: To switch the hand you're carrying the ball with, is it tap the stiff-arm button? I tried that last night but it didn't work.

For me personally, it's the first time I have really really enjoyed a Madden game as well as the franchise mode. I'm having so much fun, the most fun I have had since NLF 2K5 or Madden 10 (which had its issues but i thought it was a fun game) Madden 15 feels different though, in a really good way. I haven't even felt as if I am missing out on better gameplay via people's slider sets as I am not interested in what they're using because of the enjoyment I am getting out of playing on All Pro. I am glad I haven't got to waste countless hours testing various sets and so on... I dont want to spend my free time doing that and now thankfully I dont feel as if I need to.

I am currently loving my NY Jets franchise, Geno is frustrating but also shows moments of brilliance. I signed Josh Freeman becasue I dont trust Vick but Freeman broke his arm in his first snap at the line. I have played 12, won 6, lost 5 and tied with Patriots in a crazy game in the rain where Geno or Tom couldn't get anything going. This game has been great.

Exactly, a great post and a great point you make. Also, can you give me some tips on how you get Geno hitting the 65 TD mark?! Haha... Chris Johnson isn't going to be rushing over 2200 yards for me either although he is getting me some very important TD's and just had the game of his Jets career against the Bills

I never have time for defensive adjustments. The cpu offense gets to the line and immediately snaps the ball. I'm not talking no-huddle here. Just on regular plays. How the heck am I supposed to call blitzes and bluff blitzes and such with zero time? Is there some slider for this that I'm missing?

Honestly, I'm a little disappointed in the commentary.

I think I've heard "...and they are in on Peterson" 7,000 times already.

Yes sir! And when you call/execute a screen pass at the right time? Thing of beauty!

The lighting in M25 is progressive, and it's brighter:

M15 - 1pm

M25 - 1pm

They probably went darker in 15 to make the details stand out, but they went too far in my opinion. It all looks like it's under overcast skies in 15, smh.

That said, M25's player models are pretty bad for the most part. Colin Kaepernick looks like a balloon in that game.
The stadium fields are the worst part of the game visually IMO. The player models look fantastic, but all of the field surfaces look a little funny. Colors are kinda off, they don't really look like grass/turf. The game does seem to be sporting an exaggerated gamma or something, making jersey colors really vibrant but making the lighting feel overly dark. Still M15 looked pretty cartoony, the lighting looks exaggerated in that pic.

Impressions after over a week with the game (PS4-Allpro-W/Sliders)
awesome job by this development team. for the first time in years it feels like Madden does most of what is aiming for well. the game still feels like I have a lot more to experience in terms of gameplay depth and controls. not many repetitive animations and situations. every game feels new and different. lots of organic tackles.

The new camera options are great and well over due. even the presentation cams and cuts are done very well. I love the D cam, makes playing D a challenge. the CPU makes me feel like im working to stop them and feel like im always on the verge of messing up and giving up yardage (causing some tense defensive drives) without feeling like its cpu cheating. loving popping back and for the between the cams.

I could go into detail but the pros and cons have been covered well, but i dont see a lot of the cons personally, the pros are on full display this year. I am very pleased with the gameplay!

EA suits, get out of these guys way, they know what they are doing. Great job Rex and the guys!!! im loving M15

Yeah, this has been one of my most underrated additions to the game. I love the fact that I can quickly change cameras throughout the game. I like changing my camera depending on if I'm running or passing, controlling a D-Lineman versus a safety, etc.

One of my minor critiques that's been an issue for me for awhile now is the way players turn after they catch a screen pass or a button hook. When they stop and just sit down and catch the ball, it's hard to control which way they turn up field. In the NFL, you see guys sit down in a zone of the defense, catch the ball, and make a quick spin up the sideline to make the first defender miss. It's very difficult to do that in the Madden series, and sometimes it makes it take too long to turn upfield on those WR screens so that defenders are able to pounce before the receiver is able to turn up field and pick up some yardage.

Just won game 2 of my coach only CFM vs the Jags.
Pretty fun game. Couldn't get much going early and RGIII threw 2 picks before finally settling in on a few drives.
Got a crucial pick 6 late also

27-10 Final
After week 1 only thing I adjusted was bringing down USER Accuracy to 6

RGIII (248yds 1TD 2 Ints) finished right at 70% while Bortles (199yds 1TD 2 Picks) was 66%.

Gerhart was held to 68 yards rushing while Morris got 111
CPU took 4 sacks (2 in late 4th quarter while RGIII managed to stay on his feet this game.

Next up on the road vs Eagles..

I agree. I like the fact you can have it on a different default for both offence and defense. I like coordinator cam from ncaa ( think its called all22 in M15 ) and zoom. I wish they had last years zoom as an options as well.

The Defensive cam has added tons of enjoyment for me. I like how it smoothly pans around as you change players during the play, and even as you change direction. adds a different feel to the game, getting to the ball carrier can be tricky but very rewarding when you make a play.

So I downloaded the latest ps4 update, got it installed, turned the game on loaded up fine, started a game and it would have stutterring and lagging happening, its a offline CCM. I turned my ps4 off, gonna try it again, anyone else have this issue?

There was a thread about this that A few of us have had the stuttering. Closing and opening Madden fixed it for us.
