Wilson: Not even a top 10 Qb, if you actually start listing QB's he might not make some people's top 15.

Brady: Voted by the players as the 2nd BEST QB IN THE NFL, AND 3RD BEST PLAYER IN THE NFL! His stats the 2nd half of the season even without Gronk, was around 100 passer rating. With Gronk THEY HAD THE NO1 OFFENSE IN THE NFL FOR OVER A MONTH! Yes this clearly shows Brady is going down hill LOL! With Ridley fumbling, and Gronk not playing, half there D was on IR, there OL was banged up, and some on IR, and had ROOKIES, and 2nd in DROPS! Will be a 97 after 4 games into the season if they stay healthy and the WR's make that 2nd year jump most do, they will probably be a top 3 Offense again!

Its madden, everyone is. The individual ratings matter more than ovr and im sure his athleticism bumped that ovr up quite a bit. Rosters can be edited and shared so it shouldnt matter anyway

That Russ screenshot looks great. Curious to see what noodle arm Manning's thp is lol

If you actually believe that youre a complete fool. The hawks were a .500 or worse team before russ showed up. He plays behind an awful o line with a below avg wr corp. Brady would be eaten alive on that team. The seahawks/russ wilson relationship is mutully beneficial.

And brady gets the luxury of playing in a division thats incredibly weak yr after yr. Bradys great, but that doesnt mean wilson isnt too.

I think the article says his arm strength is 86.

I would probably put it a couple notches lower, honestly.

yup Cutty's speed and overall athletic ability is overlooked every year. If you don't think Cutler is a GREAT athlete I invite you to look up some of his high school basketball/football highlights on you tube. The man has some hops!

Some of his dunks are absolutely FILTHY!...but because ESPN doesnt like his demeanor and the fact that he refuses to give them an interview every 5 minutes he gets no respect.

He's definitely a great athlete. Always has been. I've seen him use his feet to extend a play and make a rocket pass on the fly across his body numerous times.

Not the coolest guy in the world, in my opinion, but a very talented athlete.

Somewhere in the high 70s low 80s. Thats just not his game. Would love to see brady and manning switch teams last yr to see what the results would have been

Yeah man, that exact hypothetical situation has been discussed between myself and my co-workers numerous times. I think Manning might have an edge in terms of just "Field Smarts" (not that Brady is lacking, mind you, but that is the area where Manning is G.O.A.T.) but I think Brady can still make throws with his arm that Manning just can't anymore. Would have been interesting.

Cutlers deceptively fast lol. Racial stereotypes aside, not sure why he isnt that 'cool'. Dude extends plays, has a world class cannon for an arm, and is fearless on the field.

I've read numerous things regarding his personality off the field, behind closed doors, that kind of stuff.

Who knows if they are all true or not, but I have heard from one source who I know and trust who was working for a charity he was doing a "meet and greet" for here in Denver that the guy, well, maybe he was having a bad day. Who knows.

Strictly talking football, I think Chicago dug their own grave committing to him as the franchise QB. I remember telling a friend "well we know one team that isn't winning a Superbowl anytime soon." I just don't think he is a winner, personally. I don't think he has the "It" factor.

Anyway, not to get into a debate over everyones favorite or least favorite quarterback.

As always, this is just my perspective. I do not feel I am right or anyone is wrong.

He's a pretty cool player to use in Madden though.

I hate discussing manning bc ive always been a borderline manning ***** lol. I think his smarts are somewhat overrated, especially in the offense he runs now. Theyve done a brilliant job creating an O that abuses the current nfl rules system, and gives him plenty of simple, easy reads. Between the nonstop pick routes and his o line almost never getting flagged for holding i just cant stand to watch it.

Its a little funny that his smarts sort of did him in on the first play of the sb. 5 pt swing bc of his overthinking, which is a little weird bc seattle rarely mixes up their defensive look

I love you guys, I really do.

We hoot and holler that the ratings should drop until it happens to a guy we like.

I agree with Brady's position. I do not agree with Wilson's.

He has a radio show on Monday nights during the season on ESPN 1000. win or lose he always takes blame and has been a stand up dude from what I have seen and heard. Either way this will be his FIRST year since being in Chicago that he has the entire offense back (o-line,wr's,playcaller,offensive system). Aside from last year he has taken a BEATING behind AWFUL o-lines. He HAS to produce BIG and stay healthy this year no doubt about it. There's no excuses left this year. He was very good last year when healthy but this is a huge year for him. If the D can be ranked middle of the pack 10-20, and not last in run D like last year I think my Bears are in for a huge year. im biased tho...lol

Oh and for the record.......Mr. CZAR is taking a beating on twitter on this Brady/Wilson debacle...lol

First thing I always do with a new Madden is adjust the Vikings ratings. Looks like that will be the second thing. Wilson needs do go down.

Yeah, checked his twitter about an hour ago, and boy it was something.

Pretty sure Wilson at 93 is a marketing team decision, not so much Donny's. Aside from the Seahawk fans, most everyone seems to agree he's realistically hovering around high 80's land at best.

I just started thinking the same thing. It's just a stunt to garner some more recognition to the game. I was just watching the Chiefs 2013 yearbook on NFL network and what scrolls across the bottom as a "Top Story"? 'Madden ratings release, Wilson on par with Brady'. That's exactly what they want. They want people to be up in arms and to be talking about it because it keeps the game in your mouth. I would expect more of these surprises or shock values in the upcoming days just to try and create the same sort of debate and uproar.

# 119 Jakeness23 @ 07/22/14 10:15 PM
Russell Wilson should be nowhere close to the 4th highest QB in the league. He's good, not elite. His TEAM was elite. They could've won the Super Bowl with just about every other starting QB in the league last year. Brady, Luck, and Newton are just 3 that should be rated much higher than him. He should be around 80, but no EA has to try and satisfy everyone which skews and ruins all of the ratings.

# 120 William85 @ 07/22/14 10:22 PM
Should have been Rivers instead of Wilson. Better completion %, more yards , more attempts, higher QB rating, more completions. Wilson only averaged 21 attempts per game. That is not what you ask of a top 5 QB. That says " Ok Russell, we have the best defense in the league, an above average run game , and a high percentage scheme, so don't screw it up.
