Manning, Brady, Brees, Rodgers, Roethlisberger, Flacco, Rivers, Manning, Luck, Ryan should be the top 10. Wilson should be in the top 15 sure but 93 with Brady?? hell no!..

Umm, because he's not better than Aaron Rodgers?

He should be around 80, but no EA has to try and satisfy everyone which skews and ruins all of the ratings.
Wait...what? Seems odd seeing his name in the discussion.

Oh nevermind, carry on.

2013 and 2011 saw Brees in the top 10 in INT rate.

2012 and 2010 saw him in the 20s in INT rate.

And...uhhhh, Rodgers played in 9 games last year. Cool avatar though bro.

Perhaps, but as a whole, you're talking about less than 1 per game more compared to league average. Without the precise context of every drop, it's impossible to say. You'd also have to then do the same thing for every other QB, and I'd imagine all numbers would rise a little bit. He may wind up in the same place, roughly.

They had 13 more drops over a 16 game season than the league average. It's less than 1 per game.

Remember Guys speed inflates the qb's OVR.

Lots of dismay shot Wilson's way--hey, that rhymes!

Well, which elite QB had a worse receiver core? which elite QB had a worse offensive line? The Seahawks offensive line is much better at run blocking than pass blocking.

I agree that teams with good young quarterbacks on rookie contracts allow them to potentially field more talent around them.

However, Manning eats up a lot of cap space but according to CBS sports top 100 players in the NFL, the Broncos have the most players in the top 100 (Manning, Clady, Vasquez, D. Thomas, V. Miller, D. Ware, Talib, Ward). So, it is possible to field a strong team even if your quarterback has a big cap number.

My premise is this. The extra athleticism that Wilson, Kap, Luck, Rodgers, Cam have helps them against elite defenses. So, against most teams Brady and Manning will produce better numbers than a lot of these guys but, I may take those other guys vs the elite defenses.

Again, the examples I used were Brady vs the Broncos in the AFC championship and Wilson vs those same Broncos in the Superbowl. Wilson converted more 1st downs. Kept drives alive. And I'm sorry but Doug Baldwin and Golden Tate aren't any better than Edelman and Amendola. The extra time Wilson afforded them vs what Brady could provide was really the diffference. Neither the Hawks or Pats could generate a running game.

Russell Wilson 407 ATT 63.1 3,357 26 TD 9 Int
Tom Brady 628 ATT 60.5 25 TD 11 INT

All teams draft QB's. They didn't draft a first round QB. Manning just has his best year as far as stats. He's supposed to be going down as far as age. He's older than Brady. I want to see how this year goes before I say he's going down. He had 99 QB rating the last 8 games. So he got better as the year went.

These are just base rosters. The ratings fluctuate. It Brady lights it up, he'll get a boost. If Russel Wilson bombs, he'll drop. These aren't set in stone. They'll change as the season evolves to reflect how they do. Not a big deal to me.

Don't look at ovr. Look at individual ratings

Im with you on your comment but Russell Wilson isnt a top 5 QB, hes not even close to being on those guys level. Thats the issue here. The way they calculate ratings has to change if Russell Wilson generates the same overall as Brady, because hes no where near the player that Brady is.

Nowhere near? Well thats a stretch. Sure Brady is better than Wilson but if Brady is elite Wilson is very good.

Wasn't Brady about a 95 In Madden after his second season as a starter? I think Wilson is a better athlete overall. He's just as accurate. The only thing he lacks is elite arm strength. I'm sure when Madden 03 came out people were complaining how it was a travesty he was higher rated than a Brett Favre. If Russel Wilson lights the league on fire with his arm, I can't help but imagine the rating czar telling everybody I told you so.

They fixed Wilson's skin color but now they have Marshawn Lynch too light.
