those screens look beautiful ..BUT Russell Wilson a 93 even with Tom Brady uhhh I don't think so man. While Wilson played lights out last year the shining star of that team was the DEFENSE.

IMO 93 is a tad high maybe 90 but we'll see

Bears training camp starts Thursday!!!! 1st practice Friday ....man I cant wait for the preseason games to start.

Tom Brady is Tom Brady. I don't see why his rating is lowered because of the progress/status of his team, or the stats he produced this past season.

You take away Wilson's speed and he drops 5 points at least. With Wilson's speed, Brady hits a 99. So take that as you will

If what Donny said on twitter is true. That brady is a 93 based on his last year's stats then hopefully this means EA is changing how they rate players.

How long did it take for Chris Johnson to drop into the 80s or MJD. Those are just a few examples.

I think my main issue is more that wilson is rated the same as brady. Wilson had a solid team where he didn't have to do a ton. He made some big plays and won games, but it's 1 year. I think mid 80s would of been fine. If you play CFM he should then jump up after the season if the stats were there.

Alright, moving on to the roster section of this forum to see what's going on!

There is not a snowball's chance in hell that I will use a roster that has Wilson and Brady rated as equals - I hope the "Rating Czar" remembers his armor when he goes on Twitter. I have a feeling he'll need it today, and rightfully so imo!

I've seen Wilson play probably less than 10 times. Can someone explain why everyone says he's so good. From what I've seen he is encouraged to make the easy throw. I see him check the ball down a whole lot. I know he doesn't throw many INTs but I'm just wondering why many claim he is in the conversation as a future elite QB.

I don't understand why they don't use the raw numbers in almost every rating case (accounting for deterioration of skills/ability), against the all time great performances in each category.

For example Bo jackson ran a 4.12 and a 4.18 40 at the combine, this is the fastest ever recorded (pre-electronic timing), and should be the only 99 speed in Madden, ever. All others should be rated against this speed, the same all other physical measurables. Using Jackson's run and the 99 max scale used in Madden, the speed for Chris Johnson is 96 in his 4.24 combine year (Brady would be a 76), and the slowest would be offensive lineman Josh Hall at 65(6.21 40 time) not the 99 Madden rating.

The NFL has all of the measurables needed for ACCURATE rating of players in Madden, why not be extremely accurate with the "physical attributes" and put more emphasis on the Skill portions of the ratings to create a true separation of the players/teams/schemes. I don't think Madden does a good job of this (up to the present), and is why the "sim" community relies on fan created content for more realism in their Madden life.

Really? 52 tds, 19 ints in his first two years. 100 qb raiting in both seasons. Over 500 yards rushing last season. Keep in mind his offense line is terrible, he has to run for his life at times.

His completion percentage is going to go up with all the bubble screens to Percy. Then over top to PRich.. Exciting times my friends.

Not because I am a Broncos fan, but I think those look good. I think Brady should be a little higher but overall think they look right

I wish they could have found a better way to show how great a talent russel wilson is without clearly over rating him...

i think russel is the smartest of the young/ mobile Qb's so i want to give him high AWR but he isn't a stand a a read the D pocket QB.... his ratings should be tied to movement so throw on the run should be 90+ but his other ACC ratings should be low 80's

however with ratings like this russel is officially the best QB in the game, speed and accuracy

and can break tackles unlike rodgers

and what are these ratings based on, him winning the SB ?, because his numbers weren't monster numbers overall..

that means everyone on that team must be in the top 5 of their respective positions because they won the SB...

i'll be disappointed if Kam Chancellor isn't the best safety in the game using the madden logic, that dude is clearly a beast....

Russel can play, he is on his way to great things but are you really saying he is a better QB than rivers, eli manning, big ben, ryan, luck, KAP, etc...

and using the madden logic malcom smith should be a top 5 LB

madden in the future has got to find a way to better represent players, russel is prepared, if you believe in leadership he can lead, dude is smart to avoid big hits for 1 yd, very mobile, dont force throws etc...

so because they cant show these abilities they rate him like a HIGH production QB leading to people online or the cpu using him as russel manning.

rate him so we have to use him like he plays, mobile using his legs to create pass windows, hitting guys after the play breaks down...

LOL at Wilson being a 93, and I'm not just saying this because I'm a Niners fan. Wilson is definitely not a top 5 QB.

Luck I could see being higher, not any of the others. Ben, Rivers and Ryan are close.

Kap really? That team throws less that even the Hawks. He is a total one read and then run qb. He is immature too and far from an ideal leader. Kaep should only have two things over Wilson, arm strength and flat out speed.

I think Wilson deserves to be ranked in the 90s. He came out like Big Ben everyone saying def this def that, game manager, Rus gets Ws. I disagree with his Acc ratings but at the same time when I sim a season of madden regardless of what team he is playing for I expect a team led by Rus to have at least 10 wins and whatever d Moore has to do to get those results is what it is. I have learned to trust in him

Wilson is a really great young player, I like him a lot. I was upset when a lot of the radio talkshow hosts out here refused to give him credit after we got lit up like a Christmas tree in the Superbowl. I remember one show Host A was asking Host B which young QB he would rather have going into next season than Manning, it went like:

"Luck?"

"Sure."

"Kaepernick?"

"Yeah."

"Wilson?"

"No way."

As if those two guys are THAT much better than Wilson. Hardly. A lot of the Denver media also tried to paint Wilson just as a Trent Dilfer-esque "game manager" which I also found to be ridiculous. Wilson has serious athletic ability. He is dangerous on his feet and has a very strong arm with accuracy that lets him make some seriously hard throws.

This isn't about me saying that Brady should be a 99 and Wilson should be a 70, I just don't think you can say they are equally as effective right now.

I would rate Brady a 95 and Wilson an 88-89.

For years in the NFL that "Fifth Spot" for QBs has been up for grabs. For a second it was Rivers, then it was Eli, then it was Flacco, then it was Romo, etc, Ryan and Ben are both guys in that discussion too. I think there is a pretty big gap between the fourth spot and the fifth spot. We have four guys playing right now who are legit future HOFers.

I agree with a post earlier that said his ratings make him the best QB in the game. His accuracy is very high and the speed is a dangerous weapon.

# 100 Godgers12 @ 07/22/14 09:08 PM
Wilson should be a 80-82 tops. He is an average QB, he is a lot closer to Alex Smith than Tom Brady lol. No way should he be a 93.
