MLB 14 The Show Livestream (PS4)

IGN is hosting a livestream of MLB 14 The Show (PS4 version) now.

Hunter Pence of the San Francisco Giants and Yasiel Puig of the Los Angeles Dodgers will battle it out, while Sony San Diego designer, Ramone Russell talks about the game and answers questions.

IGN needs to hire at least one person that knows how to play sports games. They have no one.

Giant bomb doesn't either. You would think both would have someone that plays sports game with how popular sports game are.

No kidding, if you played the older games they would know.

I am sure the dev is rolling his eyes in his mind.

I wish they asked a question about if they added new stats or stuff like that.

Not bad. I can't really tell the big difference from the ps3 version. But I know it will be better and that is good enough for me.

You cannot have been watching in 1080 then surely?

Do people realise the IGN player was defaulting to i think 360p, and you had to manually change it?

In 1080 (and its not even true 1080 on a stream) it looked INCREDIBLE.

yea, it just seemed like greg miller had very little interest in baseball in general. AND they were asking the DUMBEST questions like "uhhhh, what's it like to play baseball?..."

The whole thing was poorly done. They had puigs translator right next to the mic, speaking loudly over anything Russell or Pence had to say. PENCE seems like he'd never even played the game before and whined the whole time. It was SUPER awkward having Pence constantly complain about outcomes after EVERY pitch, while sitting right there next to Ramone.

The game looked good, but the ign player quality didn't do it justice.

glad to see busch stadium, thou I'm curious as to why the left field wall doesn't have the retired players pictures on the wall. it was right in mlb 10 I know they changed the wall since then but for the past two years it has not changed. does it have to do with licensing? or just not enough source material?

edit: never mind it looks like they changed the left field wall again at busch this year

Only caught the last 30 minutes or so, but the game looks great. The host was very annoying though.

Lol, they should have used A-Rod, he's not busy playing ball! Hell, I think A-Rod would have been a better host, he at least knows baseball.

They should of had someone who knows about baseball and likes playing it be the host.
