MLB 14 The Show Livestream (PS4)

IGN is hosting a livestream of MLB 14 The Show (PS4 version) now.

Hunter Pence of the San Francisco Giants and Yasiel Puig of the Los Angeles Dodgers will battle it out, while Sony San Diego designer, Ramone Russell talks about the game and answers questions.

So essentially in fear of a Puig blowup they tailored his settings/controls to an easy experience, and assumed that Pence would simply laugh off struggling at something as trivial as a video game. Backfired.

At 1080 (even though its not true 1080 on this stream) it looks beautiful, the crowds are just gorgeous, everything is so sharp.

As for the presenter...cringeworthy stuff.

I don't like the quick count, its not something I would ever use I think.
It seems like it throws for the pitch count way too much. It seems most pitch counts start off really high like 3-1 or 3-2

lol...that's harsh. He's whining for sure and could be a better sport, but they've got him using the more advanced controls on a game he doesn't know and he's having how much he sucks be pointed out to him constantly. Meanwhile, Puig is playing with easier controls and is familiar with the game, apparently. I don't think that makes Pence a douche...just human.

Ramone should have made sure that the setting were the same for both. Puig is playing at easier setting than Pence and Pence doesn't play The Show, Puig does. So, in my view Pence is taking this well.

All the Puig haters...just stop. He is actually playing well and being a gentleman gamer. He is representing his team and sport well

I had to stop watching as it was too painful. IGN man-baby host was causing me to try and punch my screen

I always hated Puig and kind of like Pence. Feeling much different now. This whole thing has been somewhat painful. The game is great, but the IGN thing with Pence complaining, the terrible host, and the terrible video quality makes this really hard to watch.

Miller is just terrible. He laughs at himself after everything he says. It was embarrassing during the new console launches when he's up trying to practice his stand up routine while everyone else was trying to, you know, actually discuss the console features.

I'm really surprised at how judgmental some of you are being (sort of). Pence is irritated because he's not super comfortable with the game, and Puig seems to be handling it just fine. They're all having fun it seems. The point of this is to marvel at the game and to get us even more psyched for it's release.

Tuned back in just in time to get, rather than ask a good question about the game, a question about 100 duck sized horses or 1 horse-sized duck. And then he laughed like it was the funniest thing he ever heard.

Why doesn't Greg ask more questions about the game not these stupid joke questions or questions about what is their favorite game they played in.
