MLB 14 The Show Livestream (PS4)

IGN is hosting a livestream of MLB 14 The Show (PS4 version) now.

Hunter Pence of the San Francisco Giants and Yasiel Puig of the Los Angeles Dodgers will battle it out, while Sony San Diego designer, Ramone Russell talks about the game and answers questions.

i have to agree, if it had to be a Dodger. I would have chosen Kemp. Bringing in Puig was not a good idea. Just an awkward atmosphere

Puig is not the problem here, he knows 4 times as much about the game as Pence and is actually having fun here. Pence is not, and acting like a baby.

Same reason people wanted to see him in the all star game last season. Hes exciting, edgy. People wanna see him, so they chose him. Puig playing probably got more people to tune into this stream.

Ok a few things..

Puig is a gamer.. I guess he plays The Show (well he said he does)

Pence whines a lot (not really, he doesn't play so he is out of his league because Puig plays)

The Host is terrible ugggg I give credit to those guys, I would have hit him by now

I had to turn it off, and that's really saying something. I was starved for PS4 info, and this IGN guy is making it super weird. He's like the old guy in a trench coat at the under-18 dance club.

This is so awkward. Pence keeps bringing up issues with the game that aren't really issues and Ramone has to politely deflect them. Who would have guessed Pence would be the one taking things way too seriously?

Should have chosen someone who speaks english, Puigs in his own world. And why aren't they using the same settings? Otherwise the game and features look good.

The lighting is beautiful. The transition from day to night is pretty awesome.

When I say he is edgy im talking bout him in general. Do you watch him play ? Everything about his personality is on the edge. People like to watch him, they put him on to gain viewers. Thats it. Hes popular. They wanted as many people to tune in as possible. Thats what im trying to say.

Pence seems annoyed playing not knowing the controls. He's playing Pulse while Puig is using classic. They should've just switched it for Pence to make him not complain so much. Or at least show him how to play the game before the stream. And now they said not even same difficulty for Pence.

Well, they succeeded in showing off some uninterrupted gameplay, but the Puig vs. Pence thing doesn't seem to be working out. Puig is better, plus his controls are simpler, Pence is upset with it all, and the host is terrible. But the gameplay looks great and that's what most people are watching for, this game is going to be incredible!
