That could be the case here. But still, I'm seeing games with 80 regularly. It def needs some adjustment or just some sliders for us.

I might try play on Pro, see if I can compete better there. I have some games on All Star, when I catch fire and can compete with the CPU. Could be the issue here.. I'll try and post back.

What difficulty are you guys playing on?

I've been on all star for quite some time. I was thinking about going back down to Pro, or even try the next step up to see how it plays.

Having great games on all star though.

im playing a mix between rookie and pro lol. im trying to stick with rookie until i can figure out how to defend the paint. but judging from others reports it may be in vain until the patch.

Since when does the CPU play almost intelligently during the final seconds of a close game? Was playing Pistons VS Wolves last night and I was up by 2 with ~30 seconds to go in the 4th quarter. I stole the ball on their possession and was up by 4. Then the CPU does the unthinkable... takes a time out and uses a screen to make a mid-range jumper afterwards. I inbound... and they foul me. I sink one of two free throws and CPU again takes a time out. This time they missed, but they kept fouling me. They even had a final possession with me up by 4 and Love even took a last second desperation fadeaway shot from the free throw line (which was money), but they still lost.

Anyway, it was a surprisingly enjoyable ending to the game. Never had anything like it before in Live 14. Was it a fluke?

Has there been a new update that fixed that stuff? I haven't played in a couple days.

its been hit or miss for me. sometimes i will get that great logic like you described. and sometimes (albeit rarely) they will be up by two with 30 seconds and just dribble out their shot clock giving me the chance for the tie/win. hopefully the "big patch" also addresses some of the issues like that as well. or ideally it would already be addressed via a synergy update and what you described will be the norm now. i havent played pretty much all week so that is possible.

The majority of the games for me have been sound logic by the CPU but I have had games where the CPU is holding the rock like they have the lead and trying to dribble out the clock or something. But more times than not the AI plays to what you'd expect.

He Went off on me earlier for 53 pts. He was hitting from everywhere. I couldn't do anything with him with MKG.

Hadnt played this game in a good while but did they do any updates? The catch/shoot lag inside the paint seems to be much improved....I know I am not imagining things here...this was a HUGE peeve for me...

Unfortunately the game ended with the Blazers runnung out the game clock down 3, but I am pretty happy about the feel of this last game...come onnnnnn patch!

Im trying to make Live my side chick, but she keeps farting when we go out on dates....if we can get that under control I might har to buy her something nice!

I hadn't played for a few days either but played 1 5-minute game last night and it felt really good. More layup attempts around the basket (some missed) instead of dunks, only 50% pip although I did double team the post every time. But the cpu did pass out of the post most of the time.

dude, my 12 y\o and my 9 y\o went at it on 10 minute quarters yesterday and i've never had so much fun watching a game. The 9 y\o is freaking WET for 3 and bigboy got the dribbling down. bigboy won after much angst 126 to 119. Twas epic!

Seems like they ramped up CPU 3's....the last couple of games I played they have been making it rain like crazy....contested or not...
