Totally agree Hobbs!!

If I could say this from a graphics stand point, those 49ers helmets look awesome. They also got the color of the patriots facemask color right (bright red). A lot of the uniforms look right but I haven't seen them all.
Someone mentioned this earlier and I can't remember who but you need to play a 6:30 game in an outdoor stadium. The lighting transitions are something to behold.

Sliders are responsive

I was getting beat by a Seneca Wallace led Packers as the Broncos. I took All-Madden, brought some user offensive sliders down to make it harder, brought some CPU offense and defense up (mostly just 5 point bumps up, except INT I raised to 65) and they picked me off 5x in 3 quarters. Lowered user pass block to 15 and the rush was INTENSE.

This may be the one that finally lasts a whole year in my system...

EDIT

For play now games, you need to do the same trick as current gen. Load your silder file for user and CPU, then go back and change it all-madden, they should stick instead of being custom it will say all-madden and have your slider tweaks

Spoiler
My first ever screenshot lol! Man next gen is going to be freaking awesome. Hopefully we get a picture thread up soon that isn't trolled

Actually it is, I'm playing it on my ps4.

Game plays great thus far, love the unpredictable pressure from the defense. Having the dt in my lap adds so much strategy.

Share feature for screenshots works pretty good.

First attempt.

Ok I have been on here complaing about the graphics but I may have spoke to soon.usually on my 60 inch Vizio I play on game mode but when I switched it to vivid it looks way more realistic kinda like ur watching real game on tv.I wish I knew how to capture screenshots

Enjoying reading these impressions, trust me they're just getting started. I'm happy most are really enjoying this. I'm not satisfied yet and I still think Madden 15 is going to be an even bigger jump, much bigger actually.

Keep the impressions coming, good and bad and lets all do our part to help make sure we get to have many more years of great football gaming!

I finally got to download the title update and the frame rate seems a little better afterward. But it's still definitely not locked in at 60 FPS like Battlefield and NBA 2K are.

Madden feels like it's probably closer to 40 FPS most of the time, plus it still stutters a lot.

All i've been asking for for the past couple if years is improved line and secondary play...FINALLY defensive players are beating offensive lineman as varying rates....defense has been very fun to play...

Secondary play could still use some
Improvements but it's still an improvement over CG....I've been playing 2k all day not expecting much from this and I'll be damned...it's a good game if football..

The enhancements I would characterize to be minimalistic but nevertheless improved. The colors are vivid and appear to be very smooth, the polish on this game is aesthetically pleasing, in my opinion. Compared to 2k, graphically this is an inferior product. however, the gameplay is well rounded and tight. Next year it will look a lot better.

The others, IMO, are useless

Blitzes are a bit if an issue. Guys come unblocked a little too often and/or the QB doesn't react well enough, I think this is easily patched
Blitzes can be countered by slide protection (if you see where it is coming pre=snap), hot routing TE and/or RB in to block and/or having a 'hot read' receiver on a quick route. Read the defense pre snap, make the right adjustments, get the ball out faster and you should be able to beat the blitz.

Im sorry I meant the CPU

I love getting pressured I just think CPU doesn't adjust quite well enough to my blitz

Graphics are not a huge leap like other new Next Gen Sports games...but minor increases were made across the board....I will enjoy all of the little things like offensive/defensive line interaction improvements...replay improvements...BUT I look forward to having the ability to choose what I want to challenge and a true graphical leap. I want the game to continue getting more realistic! Solid game...not great though. #Playable

Now that I've played it a little, I'm pretty happy with it. It's what I expected: A prettier, better playing version of the PS3 game. It's not a huge leap, but it is a step up.

Really enjoying the game for the short time I've been playing. Granted this is the first I've played Madden 25 on any console. Still a ton of room for improvement, but it is better than I thought it was going to be, by far. Here are some shots I took while in a play now game. Game can look down right real life at times.

After bypassing current gen I am very happy with Madden PS4. The graphics will get upgraded each year I'm sure but the good thing is I see improvement in the gameplay.
Loving it so far. I'll let everyone else do all the dissecting

It's all madden default, slow gsme speed

The gsme is not bad, not bad at all. Detailed impressions later. PM me requests
i'm watching his feed right now, http://www.twitch.tv/thejarebear he is playing on zoom mode, it is a drastic difference of other videos. The game actually looks good, playable and buyable.

After playing a couple of games, I must say, I'm not sure I can go back to playing NCAA 14. The defensive zone coverages and pass rush have me hooked.

Also, I felt the game was too fast and animations speed up when not needed. I switch to fever slow and it's smooth as butter now.

Need some more time, but I'm going to mess with penalty sliders and see what's what.
