POE coaching - needs to be noticed over the course of a game. 12 min quarters will be even more noticeable aswell.....

I think the general feel, animations, shots being different all the time, these small amazing things, again, get this game in your lounge and the amazement will begin......

And after these points, I still liked the vid! For what it was, quality and length etc, couldn't have expected more.....

Get a decent upload, maybe a Czar vid on strategy or plays etc and we will all be OMG (ing) in our pants! Haha.....

Amazing press release today - thanks 2K - GREAT work!
Another good point.. Points of Interest should supposedly change the flow of the game with different tendencies, AI, defense overall and they way you react... so basically everything changes throughout the game... so 4 plays doesnt tell us anything... I for one am back to 99% excited... just wish the 15th would just get here... Will sit back and blow some and get into the game

They have hundreds and hundreds of real arena-specific PA sounds and arena-specific authentic music mixed in. 10x the amount that Live ever had in either of these departments.

You just have no knowledge of the game.

Interesting thing to try to take them to task for.
I disagree and this is not something that worth busting out the pitchforks for. I just thought it'd be impressive and more immersive but to me the commentary is still bland. Yeah the topics are extensive but to me it doesn't seem organic. Idk just me. They've made strides with it but its still not there.

Just my two cents. I'm not telling you or anyone don't buy the game cause the commentary. That would be idiotic

Also I forgot to mention, this new emotion system they say they added (WOW by the way) - again can't be noticed by video.....

This is what happens when you let nerds review sports games
I'm a nerd. And I can quote Steph's stats, contract, real given name, jump shot speed, usual shot angle, hot spot percentages, and 3pt FG % to the tens decimal place.

I can also give a rough play by play of every shot Steph made in that torrid 6 minutes of Game 4 against the Nuggets.

You just need the right type of nerd.

I'm hearing this so much that I'm just wondering what people would expect to see?...Not trying to bust your chops or call you out...just genuinely curious. Thanks
I was expecting more. I was expecting ALL transitional animations to be realistically smooth, absloutely no herky jerky-ness. I didn't want to see any animations "snap" into place. Regardless, I will be picking up the PS4 and NBA2K14 come Nov 15th.

Great Job 2K.
That pick looked very good. Very Bogut like and seemed to really interact with the player though he did merge into him a little.

Stop just stop.. Even with 20 mods this still looks better.

This may not even be the final build because they normally don't bring the finished version to these events. What ever it was it still looked better than any sports game to date.

I'm not impressed with this NBA 2k14 video. Other than better graphical quality, the video looks awfully similar to current-gen NBA 2k14. I'm not seeing much improvement with the gameplay.

You know I think the live tweeting of the media event actually set up some false expectations and hurt our first impressions of actual 5v5 gameplay.

After seeing the incredible trailer, when some one tweets "foot planting is fixed", "completely new engine", and "the game looks lifelike", it really allows your imagination to run wild.

So we end up expecting live-photoreal-broadcast quality graphics and then see something that looks VERY good but obviously has cur-gen 2K's pedigree, which is nothing to sneeze at.

Anyway, there are many moments in the gamespot video where the game does look like a broadcast for a split second. I don't mean where it kind-of-sort-of does if you're not paying attention or just walked in the room like current gen 2K. Seeing Lebron bringing the ball up without choppy transition animations really does kind of remind you of actual video footage.

Dang you had some crazy unrealistic expectations for next gen. This is the FIRST iteration and it already looks this good. It's only going to get better, what DID you expect it to look like if this wasnt impressive?

These graphics are AMAZING. Everything looks different. I can definitely tell they re-did a lot of things. The animations are smoother and that LBJ jumper looked exquisite.

I can't complain.

Just imagine this on your TV.

I thoroughly enjoy current gen, and this looks even better.

Makes sense.
So you're saying that he's never seen 2k14 current gen? He's never played next gen either... But he's seen it.

That makes sense. IJS

Posts like this crack me up. You guys[you personally may or may not be included] hyping up 2k like OMG, then show this and say "Well, its only the first year iteration etc. I think its personally funny! Its ok if peopel are a little disappointed. Its a good type of disappointment, cause we know they can do more..and will do more as the generation continues. Its not the type of disappointment that can't do anything right.

People need to ease up on the people that disagree with how it looks. That's ok, doesn't mean its not worth copping, its just meant they had higher expectations! Deal with it!

It definitely isn't the final build IMO. I still saw the coach sweaters on a few guys all over the scorer's table. I doubt they leave that the way it is.

This looks great, guys trying to say it's slightly better than current gen graphically or just cleaned up from current gen need to head out to the optometrist's office immediately. This game is going to blow people away when you have it on your tv at home. I have a 55" screen that I know is going to love it.

Anyway, since nobody else mentioned it. Heat jerseys are fixed and LeBron's new ink is in.

Impressed that 2k went all out for next gen....next year's version is just going to get better! I'm going to take a day off on the 15th need to be home when ups delivers it as I don't want that package sitting on the front door....
