2K Sports has released the first next-gen gameplay trailer of NBA 2K14, weighing in at 1:33 of goodness -- set to "In the Air Tonight" by Phil Collins.

I haven't played online(rented it for two weeks) so I wouldn't know. I did notice some annoying issues, like contested shots going in far too often...

has there ever been a 2k that was balanced online? I think that no matter what, certain people will continue to try to exploit the game. They can try to make sure that guys with no skill don't get rewarded, and I hope they do that next-gen. Less contested shots going in, increase the effect of fatigue for guys using one player ect..

I actually enjoyed NBA 2K14 CG because you can actually run plays now which I'm all for also the defense has been improved a bit more especially double teams. The new phyisics engine is kinda annoying not gonna lie, I can understand why they would add it but damn there's so many loose balls every game.

I think this is the first NEXTGEN game which is actually NEXTGEN, you see nextgen madden and the biggest improvement is the grass looks better, you see Cod next gen .. the biggest improvement is fishes move out the way when you swim, the current gen to next gen improvement isnt that much from other companies.. but 2k went all out with the faces which is really impressive.

This is not true, it's just the way you like to put a spin on things. You can put a spin on ANYTHING and make it sound ridiculous.

If you watched the Madden 25 Next Gen videos, the pass protection is vastly improved. The linemen create a pocket for the QB and there is double team blocking in pass protection.

The bookends have far better pass rushing moves and they finally dip their shoulders.

If you watched COD, it's graphically far superior to what we have now due to the better lighting in the next gen game, a lot like 2K has done.

Have you seen battlefield 4? Probably not. To say only 2K has shown an impressive next gen game is ridiculous.

You could say 2K doesn't even show any 5-on-5 gameplay, only some faces and a couple of nice plays here and there. Of course I'm really pumped for this game but you can put a bad spin on any game.

People people, calm down about life like legends. They probably will look good, life like, like the current superstars of the NBA Lebron, Kobe, Harden, AI, they wont look as detailed as them because they have no way of scanning their face like they have done other superstars

Dude no. madden looks like current gen with only a few upgrades. No where near how a next gen football game should look.

COD looks nothing more than an HD remake of the current version. Nothing to scream about in anyway.

BF4 looks dissapointing compared to the PC trailer that was shown early this year. So no.

To tell you the truth the only titles that look next gen are NBA 2k14 and Killzone Shadow Fall, and some what of Ryse which gameplay looks like pure trash.
Everything else from Watchdogs ect, don't hold a candle to what next he should look like

1. Not really. I never saw the footwork in current gen that I saw in next gen. I never saw bookends dip their shoulder. I never saw offensive linemen push a bookend past the QB because he got beat off the snap. I never saw the 5 linemen form a pocket. You say only a few upgrades, actually I already saw quite a handful and I saw none from 2K yet so don't go acting like 2K is the only game out there worth getting.

2. Looks nothing more like an HD remake of the current gen version. Can you tell me how NBA 2k14 next gen is any different so far?

3. LOLOLOL. Of COURSE BF looked worse than the PC build, high end PCs will ALWAYS dominate consoles. If NBA 2K14 had been shown on a high end PC, the trailer we saw wouldn't have looked as good. That's not a reason to sit there and say BF didn't make improvements.

We actually saw some of the improvements they made, we haven't seen any NBA 2K14 improvements yet.

If you are going to talk like your opinions are fact, give a better reasoning than "So no", "Looks like a HD re-boot". Give facts, not opinions.

You know what, I don't know what it is but I never felt that 2k ever got Kobe's face right.

Yeah you can tell it's him but it just doesn't really look him IMO the way LeBron looks like himself, or KD, or Harden, or Iggy, or AD.
