2K Sports has released the first next-gen gameplay trailer of NBA 2K14, weighing in at 1:33 of goodness -- set to "In the Air Tonight" by Phil Collins.

What happened if NBA2k14 next gen doesn't have an ONLINE mode...you still buy the game?

I wish they come out and tell us what features are in the game. I know it's not going to be the same as 2k14 of the current gen because they had said that they're two totally different unique game.

I love this idea, but my question is does it have to be a current NBA player or can it be a legend? Pretty sure Magic Johnson has Twitter. Just saying.

... really? Online mode is what your concerned with missing from NBA 2K14? You do realize Visual Concepts was one of the FIRST developers to pioneer online play in sports games with NFL 2K1 and as far as I can recall, every Visual Concepts sports game has had online play. And you THINK they would just straight up rip it out?

To be honest tho, I'm not expecting a huge amount of gameplay tweaks from current-gen; probably just some major bug fixes and, of course, a monumental upgrade in visuals and animations.

Just because you were one of the lucky doesn't mean next gen consoles will be easyto get on launch day.

My Gamestop, one of the biggest in the county, currently has taken 180 PS4s. When the 360 came out, they took 150 but were only given 6 for the launch day.

This screenshot comparison also serves to reinforce my desire to have a Rookie 2004 LeBron player model in the game on next gen with those extremely real graphics. Although it also brings up my concern over whether or not the classic teams were removed from next gen. Because I'm hoping they retained all the classic teams they have had in previous 2ks. Would love to see the various Jordan player models in next gen glory.

People keep asking this. Hasn't this been confirmed multiple times now that classic teams are still in?

This trailer shows what NBA 2K have had in them for YEARS! But they only just got the technology to show it!

I can imagine the frustration when they got criticized for things that they KNEW they could do if they had more system capacity.....

Well done 2K... I know now why Ronnie and LD2K were sooooo supremely confident. Rightly so gents, rightly so...

Euroleague I don't know, I'd imagine it's in too. Haven't seen anything about that. Who knows how the classic teams look, probably great too. I just remember seeing it mentioned somewhere around here that classic teams had been confirmed in next-gen.

This looks scary good!! I just hope the gameplay is just as good as nba2k11 or even 2k14 current gen.
Yes current gen has some problems, players spinning with the ball awkwardly and too many kick balls, yet I still play it a-lot because overall I really like the gameplay.

Now this being a new engine and all, if it plays as good as it looks..Stamp!!!
